How to check if carbon diffuser is real?

So this guy on ebay accepted my offer for 250 on this. I was just wondering if there’s a way i can tell if it’s real or not cause the one i currently have treat i bought it with is so bad. Also if you can plz explain why is fake or why it’s real so i can know when buying other carbon pieces. https://www.ebay.com/itm/22547952000...mis&media=COPY

It looks real. The Chinese copies don't usually bother with the part numbers and logo. Weave on the back side is a good sign. Printed carbon look pieces usually are solid and smooth on the back. Plenty of real carbon fakes out there. Usually the fitment need a little work of the weave isn't as clean.

All of the knock offs are laminated carbon over fiberglass. They do not flex, they do not twist, and they do not fit...

I’d be more concerned with it being a scam considering the seller’s user name and feedback.

if they actually send you what is in the photos then yes it is real

wut. OEM diffusers are full CF and extremely rigid still...

I had an oem diffuser prior to going carbon 1.5. You could still twist it because it's thin vacuum bagged carbon. Same as the oem m performance spoiler and so on.
