Please help!!!

I'm taking delivery of my M3 tomorrow. I already bought my set of winter wheel/tires last month already. Now today, trying to install the wheel on my car, the dealer call me to tell me that they won't install these wheels since it's too close of the caliber. Also they find that the tire is passing very close of the front fender when turning to the maximum.

Is this normal? Do I need spacers ?

Here are my wheels:

Front: Apex ARC-8 19x8.5 ET20

Rear 19x9.5 ET33

And some pictures from the dealer:

Spaces can solve the caliper clearance but the inner gender rub on lock may not be solved. On my e90 I had a very slight fender rub. Did not burn the plastic, just made marks.

thanks MRV99

I taught at first, that I choose the wrong size of winter tires, but they are only slightly bigger than OEM. Front are 235/40R20 and rear 255/40R20.

Did you check with Apex before buying the ARC-8s? I thought that the ARC-8s didn't fit the M3/M4. I have EC-7s and they fit fine.

that's on the 18" wheels.. . he's saying 19s... 19 shoudl have no caliper clearance issues on Arc-8s.

but I'm confused b/c he's saying 19" wheels, but 20" tire sizes, so something isn't matching....

Ok, I have the 18" EC-7, 18x10 front and 18x11 rear as my track wheels.

If I were putting snow tires on my M4 I would go with 18" tires.

ok, photos were blocked at my office, so just now seeing them. I thought the clearance issue with teh arc-8s was the ID of teh wheels, but it appears I misunderstood. it's teh spokes hitting the wheels.. That's going to be an issue with 18 or 19" arc-8.

that may be able to be solved with a spacer? but that woudl be a trial and error test.

Can you confirm tire sizes? 40 series 19" tires (even if you typed 20") are going to be taller than the stock 35 series 19s, so those may cause issues when turning in teh front as they could hit the inner fender black plastic.
