This is probably a bit of a shot in the dark, but would anyone be willing to coordinate their M3/M4 purchase with me?

I'm trying to purchase an extended warranty on my M4, I've actually spoken to Jay at Endras, who referred me to their something-manager, who was only willing to offer me $500 off the warranty, which is still a big ripoff.

I feel like if I can coordinate with someone purchasing an M vehicle (with/without extended warranty), my chances for negotiating a better discount on the warranty would be higher. Maybe in return of me purchasing the extended warranty, the person buying the car could get a few extra $$$ off as well.

Thanks in advance!

I too am in the market for an extended warranty and would be interested in how pricing works out and/or participating if an additional warranty purchase provide better overall leverage for all?

To close the loop, I can happily say that I finally did buy an M3 and it was through Jay Wong. Jay and his assistant Jackie were very helpful throughout the entire buying experience. I'm in agreement with BBDC5 in that I highly recommend Jay.

Glad to see another happy M owner from Endras BMW.

@Tacoma, what options did you order and when is the delivery date?

see if they'll do a group buy for extended warranty. I remember in the states they were able to get this done for the e92 m3.

I recently saw the dealer cost on my M6 extended warranty and the dealers don't have a ton of room to move. Not sure what you got quoted, but the M warranties do cost the dealers quite a lot.

PM me your price if you want and I'll see if I can get a better price for you. I am meeting with the manager at Endras tomorrow morning actually.

So whats the best price reduction available? Carcost shows 8% invoice to retail for BMW dealers.

Probably around 5% off MSRP. Maybe 6%. I also heard it was tougher to get a nice discount off an M3 vs M4, as dealers tend to have more M4's on allocation/in-stock. Not sure if that's true or not.

You can get 7-8% depending on the # of M3s in the dealer inventory. Ordering might be less but that also depends on when it is ordered.

Say in October or November going into winter, they don't sell many rwd cars, you are likely to get better discounts regardless of stock or custom order.

The way it works in Canada is if you have group buy at better rate than the margin allows, BMW Canada has to offer the same rate to all other dealers.

This happened few years ago when the local GTA dealer negotiated with BMW Canada to provide the N55 performance exhaust at discounted rate for group buy. Unfortunately even though this particular parts specialist did all the work to organize it, BMW had to offer the same deal to all other dealerships.

So if you are going to organize it, you will need to go higher up to obtain a better discount.

Ordered a 2018 M4 ZCP for Euro delivery from Parkview BMW. Can't recommend then enough. I was thinking about going down to Endras to pick up from a guy who used to work there but he's no longer with BMW. I'm also a Trillium member so the discounts are really good.

The only thing they wouldn't budge was on the lease rate on the M, but I'm thinking of buying it out now so let's see. PM me if you want to know the discount or my SA at Parkview.

I am looking at getting a M3 for this summer euro delivery but will take my time to find the best deal possible. If anyone has any leads on a preferred dealer, feel free to PM me. I tried Endras but don't think Jay works there any more.

Also, does bmw offer the best finance rates? I think they are posted at 4.99% right now.

There are a whole bunch of car dealerships - such as Lexus, Volvo and Chrysler - mostly along Achilles Rd in Ajax, all owned by the same person who owns Endras BMW. I just bought a car from Jay and he says he now sells cars from those other dealers as well as BMW. So for example if you want a Giulia QV, I think he can sell that too (though I think all 2017/18 QV allocations have already been spoken for).

Thus if you call Endras and ask for Jay, I'm sure they'll be able to find him at one of the dealerships and get you connected.

I think he meant someone else? As far as I know, Jay is still there. Unless someone knows otherwise?
