Things not to do here
Things not to do that I learned here.
1. Don't money shift, but if you ever do, don't pretend you didn't. 2. If you are a lot younger and happen to have a F8x, don't brag. Anything else? |

But I'm 21 and I worked "extremely" hard to afford my M4!

On topic, the amount of money shifting threads in this forum alone is enough to deter me from thinking about a manual. Petrified. I've also learned that you shouldn't get LEDs, apparently. |

Couldn't the risk of money shifting be one of the thrill factors for having an MT? Yeah apparently, we might have to add that "don't get LED" to the list. I coded euro LED and it's really awesome seeing the way high beams dancing though. |

dont put stuffed animals or bobble heads on your dashboard...or cleanex boxes behind your rear seat head rests.
Save that for your Genesis. |

No one at any age should brag about having a m4, not just young ppl. There's a big difference if someone paid cash for it and leasing. I'm 22 and worked hard to afford my expensive hobbies, and I don't think there's anything wrong with being proud to own an amazing car like f8x. I certainly don't run around telling ppl what i drive.

I will get LEDs only if I can code them to create my own moving disco strobe show. At least then I can provide mobile entertainment until I inevitably money shift and blow up. Ugh, but my schlong is tiny. I figured with DCT no one will guess - the M3 is so subtle otherwise. |

Don't ever. EEEEEVV AAAAAR! Say those dirty 3 letters, on these boards. And I don't mean AMG! No, no, noooo .... not LED either. I'm talking about AWD! Oooops! Did it again!
If you can't friggin' drive your M3 in the snow on your summer tires, then you are a lame excuse of a driver. And obviously you should sell it and get an SUV with studded snow tires and a hitch, so we can tow you out of the inevitable ditch, because you're still an idiot driver. BTW, other taboo phrases excluded from common vocabulary on M3 forums in the past used to include: "turbo charged", and before that it used to be "electric power steering", and before that it was "V8", and before that it was "convertible", and before that it was "automatic", and before that we did not say "M3 sedan", and so on and so forth. But I still don't think they will ever make an AWD M3. Impossible!!!! Last edited by Falafel Combo; 09-13-2015 at 06:29 AM.. |

I don't understand how people are money shifting......I find it literally impossible to do that unless you are a complete moron and have absolutely no idea how to drive a stick shift car.

I think it's highly unlikely during a sprited driving because of enhanced awareness, but if one has a weird habit of revving high during highway cruising, he might think he was going from 1 to 2 instead of 3 to 4 and make it happen if distracted by something like NAVI/phone... Quote:
