I live in the area and can head to the dealership to get some information for you if you would like? Let me know.

Turns out there is a slight change in plans. I don't know if I need to dealer trade anymore, but thank you for your offer. I should know more tomorrow.

Hey, I made the same move a few weeks ago as well! I had a Obsidian 15 RCF, moved to a 16 M4. Really only miss the V8 noise, which was quite awesome.

Other than the exhaust note, I am finding the M4 to be a much better place to be than the RC F. Hope to see you around this spring/summer. Would love to get your insights on the switch once you have had move time behind the wheel.

Congrats!

Thanks. It's been a week now and haven't regretted it one bit. I thought I'd miss the "comfort" and the rumble at cold start, quite the opposite. I have a grin from side to side every time I get in the car. It's crazy how quickly the car gets up to speed too compared to the RCF.

I need to learn more about coding but holding off doing anything crazy

I was recently at the dealership and saw your (old) car. Even spoke to Kerry about it. Nice car.

Does BMW Orland Park offer/install Dinan products? Thinking of going with Dinan Stage 1 tuning. Any inputs on tuning and Dinan?

I don't believe BMW of Orland Park does any Dinan tuning but I will double check with the service writers there.

With the plethora of obd solutions now I'd look at those as well

Stay away from BMW of Orland Park. Their service advisers are a bunch of snakes and the dealership in general is garbage.

They were going to plug my car in to do an oil top off after I explicitly said I don't want the car being plugged in (I'm tuned). One of the techs alerted me, I said I wanted the car back immediately and walked into the service bay to ensure they didn't pull a fast one. Dealership sucks ass. Literal garbage.

Don't buy a car there either, their prices are astronomically higher than every other dealer in Chicagoland.

I got my car there in 2015. They offered, by far, the cheapest price of any dealer in Chicagoland. I've never been back for service, but be careful not to generalize your own experience to everyone else's.

The place is a ripoff. They also tried to up charge my fiancee on service for work she didn't need on her X3. Only place worse than them is Perillo in terms of pricing.

Garbage dealership and people.
