CCB gold calipers onto OEM 380/370 steel rotors

Folks,

Keen to know if anyone has done OEM CCB 6pot/4pot caliper upgrade on standard steel rotors - wanting to keep my car's brakes 513m/640m compatible ?

TIA,

BP

Based on the clearance of the calipers on the 19" 437M, I highly doubt this is possible.

The 380mm front rotors 30mm width is not correct for the OEM CCB 6-piston rotors. F10 M5 400mm front rotors 36mm is the correct width.

Rear 370mm rotors can be fitted with the OEM CCB 4-piston calipers.

What about the Brake Discs 400mm of the M5, are they fit plug & play on the F80?

No - the centre bore is a different size.

Correct but it will work. You need to have the center bored bigger of the m5 rotors.

Is this confirmed as fact? I'm awaiting proof that the m2c upgraded brake package steel rotors are a direct swap to replace ccb rotors

Not necessity based, but future looking.

You may have to change the brake booster if you replace CCB rotors with iron rotors.
