I believe that's a Negative. The Moto GP race is April 11 - 13, so the M4 Safety Car may be at the track as soon as Thursday and stay there until the end of the race. Then it will be shipped Argentina for the next race.

don't feel like payin the $ to see car at the moto GP, I go for the f1 races but motorcycles meh..

I think you'd be surprised to see the Moto GP guys. They are super loud and fast as shit. It's impressive to say the least and worth it at least once to check them out. Just my two cents.

FYI, the Moto GP guys will probably be louder than F1 this year!

MotoGP is great fun. I went last year, bikes sound amazing. Formula 1 of motorcycle racing. It is only $89 for 3-day pass.

I have been informed that this mid-section is not stock. It does not have cats, so not even sure if it will be an option to purchase with their Performance Exhaust or not. This is most likely a one-off for the Moto GP car. Maybe Akra worked with them for this section? Maybe the mid-section will be offered separately by another company? Only time will tell for sure.

already quality issues ... glovebox not lining up with the rest of the leather trim (look at the stitching and the corners) ...

That exhaust is a one off. The accessory one will likely not be anything like this one. It will only resemble it from the tips back. You have to consider BMW wants you to be able to hear this car amongst the GP race bikes.

Doubtful. This car has been torn apart to install a lot of aftermarket equip. Most likely it just needs some adjustment. Relax

+1 on this. These Safety Cars are beat up to shiiit by the end of the race season. They are not show cars so no need to judge them as such.

The quality really isn't there in the f3x and most likely f8x...

Not sure if it's part of a weight reduction campaign

But for the f3x - cheap dusty squealing brake pads, materials falling apart, cheap fuyao side windows, cheap plastic around transmission tunnel, hollow materials, seams not lining up

Here's hoping the f8x is more solid but I'm sure it will fast and fun and worth it to many

That is an important piece of info, thanks for sharing.

If accurate, it could explain the clear sound and why so many said it sounds like a catless n54. The good news is that the MPE will sound great on catless F8X

I stopped by BMW of Austin a couple hours ago and learned that the safety car had just been sent over to COTA. Bad timing, but maybe this will save others from a trip to the dealer.

The mid-section is not stock to the M4. Akrapovic has not released their exhaust kits for the M4, so I cannot possibly begin to speak to how this relates to an Arkaprovic system.

However, Akrapovic makes a mid-pipe for the E9x M3 that is straight with no cats, their GT4 mid-pipe. I had it on my M3 and it was nothing short of AWESOME! When paired with the Eisenmann Inconel rear section the sound was pure race car! Love it.

I'm sure that Akrapovic will offer something similar to us in due time after the M3/M4 has been released for a bit.

It is extended leather. I believe the stitching is default of extended leather, but I could be incorrect.
