You may recall we were discussing a "stripper" so no ZCP. Furthermore, that dependency is not new for MY2018.

That's normal. Pricing guides are out though, and a calculator gets the job done.

Wholesale Prices

Anyone know what the exact invoice is for the base price? Dealer verbally told me it is $61415 which is about 6.24% off of $65500. Not quite the typical 7% off? Just want to confirm.

True, but you can code that in. I did on my F22 and the difference is amazing.

Note that 61415 = (65500 x .93) + 500

So the 7% off is still valid, it's just that the $500 MACO fee is included in your dealers figure. Make sure you don't add it in again when calculating the total invoice cost.

So can this MACO fee be waived?

I do not believe that 61415 includes the MACO fee at all.

so the pricing guide for the 2018 F80 shows the following "Individual Paint Colors" at $1950:
Azurite Black
Champagne Quartz Metallic
Tanzanite Blue
Smoked Topaz

Is this list exhaustive? Meaning, are there no other colors that are at the "discounted" individual price of $1950 as opposed to the regular $5000 price?

For example:

Nardo Grey - been done on M3s before, several posted on this forum. But i assume this is a $5000 cost right?

BMW Moonstone Metallic - i saw on other posts that this used to be a $1950 individual color choice ... is it no longer?

BMW Frozen Silver - no longer available?

Exactly. Those are the only ones for $1950. The rest are $5000.

+shittier, shorter maintenance plan.

Even with the price increase, an equivalent 2018 still comes in slightly cheaper than my 2017 build. I know there is always something better around the corner, but was not expecting cheaper and better.

also i did notice with the regular cheap leather package- the dash is much nicer- sort of has a sticking in it, where the 17 & 16's had nothing on the dash just the ugly fake material

Personally never saw the appeal of leather dash. You never touch it and it's just more leather to condition and protect or neglect it and it fades and cracks since it gets the most sun exposure.

That's why you tint your car

I have not met someone in person yet after seeing Full Leather compared to Extended Leather that didn't regret not getting Full Leather.

This applies to all cars. Including Porsches, Benz and Audi.

I hear you. I'm just lazy and hate cleaning and conditioning leather the most out of all detailing tasks.

Yeah it's a pain.

To be honest there are some cars I wouldn't do full leather on simply because what the car is. Like a typical 3er I wouldn't. Anything above a certain cost I would do Full Leather if I could.

It completely changes how a BMW looks interior wise. Looks simple and classy~
