Costs the same as other metallic non-Individual colors, and Silverstone II is nowhere to be seen anymore. Goes both for M3 and M4.

Well that's a twist. For now I'll assume this isn't some error on the website (the European websites are usually very accurate).

Could be that this is the result of the color being added to the M3/M4 CS - logistically easy to add the option to the standard M3/M4 as well. But, that means one less exclusive feature for those cars.

It also makes you wonder on which date they stopped (if they even have) approving San Marino Individual orders. You'd think they would want some buffer between availability so the color doesn't go from $5000 one day to $550 the next. Even then, you wonder how the guy that paid the $5k within the past few months is going to react when he learns of this news.

SMB has been an option here in Canada for at least a year if you ordered the Ultimate package which costs something like 25k ontop of the base here.

I hope it is an error because I ordered my M3 a month ago for $$!

Anyway, end of production is approaching fast. I will complain to no end if it becomes a standard M4 color.

I've talked to a couple of sales advisors and none of them have seen a change in the order system of us cars. SMB is not available yet

The UK and France configurators are showing SMB as well! When will the US one come???

i just got denied for SMB a couple of months ago. i would be pretty sad if it was a standard color

With the fact that some people on here took delivery of SMB recently, that would be enough to piss me off....why were you denied?

Also interested in knowing this. Came here because I want an M3 in San Marino Blue, decided I can swallow $5k, and now come to find it's not possible to order?

I don’t think i got a solid reason except I didn’t have enough time before delivery. My ED delivery date is April 9th but i believe my SA and i sent in the request early February.

I didn’t even really get an option of “but if you can take delivery on a later date from xx/xx then SMB is possible”.

Afaik, my car is still in status 150 (or whatever the status i can make changes) lol

So I asked my SA about this. I currently live in Germany and thought WTH, can't hurt to ask. The answer was that this color option is only available for Germany spec cars ordered through BMW Germany. Since we order ours through BMW NA (North America), this is not an option. I also found out that I couldn't order individual color anyways since they discontinued it about 18 months ago! This is for Military Auto Sales for BMW.
