For those who’ve ordered an M3 CS - any discount?

Just curious, to the guys and gals that are ordering or ordered the M3 CS. Were you able to get the price any lower than MSRP?

Nice to see you around here Thescout13! No ED pricing?

There are 341 US Centers for 550 units.

Always have the M4 CS which won't be a special edition nor limited to 550 units, which will be in production for the US market until June 2020 (27 months).

Thinking about the M4 CS but still tossing ideas around in my head and am in no hurry. As to the M3 CS, my contact showed me the memo from his regional manager that ED was not available on the M3 CS. I'm sure if push came to shove I could probably get less than MSRP, but I still cannot get over the price. At that price I would just want the M5 or a 911. Need to figure some things out (namely, what I want haha)

Sounds like most dealership are pretty stuck on MSRP or even asking over. I ordered one thru Motorwerks BMW here in MN and was told MSRP and nothing under, nothing over.

M3 CS is excluded from all current incentives, so I doubt dealership would budge on the price...

Why do you think they don’t allow M3 CS for European delivery? I don’t see how it’s very much different from the GTS and the 30 year Jahre model. It’s basically right in the middle as far as price point and afaik, both were able to do ED

I guess I need to learn to read also? What was the reason CS are excluded? I don't see a reason posted other than BMW says so.

I meant the reason why it’s not offered as a ED, not if it is. Am i missing something, I couldn’t find what you were referring to in this thread.

I thought you were clear. I agree it seems strange given the GTS & 30 was ED as well as the i8. Maybe it has to do with some strange EU emissions rule for that model line.

My bad. I believe you are correct. I was remembering several YT videos showing deliveries at the Welt, but as I recall, they weren't Americans.

one of those will still be on the lot in 7 months hoping for a walk-in ignorant buyer since the dealer will hold out for profit on that one

We do not get a discount for ED in Canada.

holy batman that's ridiculous.

my other favorite part is they have "7 speed manual" as transmission choice when you scroll down. it's like the default option that no dealer ever changes and it's fooled me so many times when looking for Ms with the correct 3 pedal setup

Your correct for the M3 CS price due to limited production of 550 units for the US (each Center with 1 or 2 allocations), but the M4 CS will be discounted since it is not a limited edition with set production units like the M4 GTS.

I just got a "flash sale" text from a local dealer (I'm the UK) offering both the M3/4 CS with £14,000 off giving a sale price of 77k sterling, they have loads just sat around unsold with many dealers refusing to take them.

With a new CP with good spec costing 56k in the UK these aren't worth more than 66-70k IMHO.
