Just got off the phone with the dealer in CT and he tells me that the current money factor is 0.00156, I told him that others were offering 0.00152 and he told me that it's not possible ... Is there an official site where I can check this, or should I call BMW Financial Services to get the real number?

He's correct. Post above is incorrect., so your payment is 5 cents more.

One more quick question, I am getting $4,500 in rebates, and the dealer is charging me for the tax on the $4,500 up front. Is this common practice, to pay taxes on the manufacturing rebates?

I believe it depends on the incentive and the state, but yes I do believe all the incentives this month are taxable.

Hello,

I was wondering if I could get your guys' thoughts on this. This is very far off from what the dealer has put on the table (they only offered $500 off MSRP with $4,500 rebate), but I am thinking about countering with the below:

MSRP: 80,595
Adjusted Price: 75,000
Rebates: 4,500
Fees: 1,000

Monthly $800 + taxes with $800 at signing (10k miles/yr).

The dealer is saying that I could do MSDs. Is it still 0.00007 reduction per MSD with 7 maximum? I thought that BMW discontinued this program? Also, what is the rebate? Would this adjusted price be at invoice (~7% off MSRP)?

Thanks!

Really bad, only a $1200 discount? Typical for the Seattle area though. And I would bet they are marking up the MF too.

Your discount is pretty decent for a stripper. That seems pretty close to invoice. $6k in sales tax though? Doesn't CA just tax on the monthly?

Also neither of you should be putting money down on a lease. If you must have a lower payment put that $7k-$10k down into a savings account and do a monthly withdrawal. Reason being if you drive your brand new car off the lot and total it, you won't get your down payment back, and you'll have no car.

Currently working on a deal for a 18 M4 with a Dealer in PA,
2018 m4, comp./executive package, total about 84k, down to 76 all in all.
Unsure of the RV, but I'm getting quoted a MF of 0.00186 which i feel is too high??

You haven't posted nearly enough details. And it sounds like you financed instead of leased.

MSRP?
MF/interest?
Selling price?
Discounts?

So the question is, "Did my parents get a good deal?" and the follow up question "from us here" is "why do you care? sounds like the deal is done?"

Not trying to be a smartass, but certainly coming off as one...
