Wonder Woman now has her official car!

I actually like the hood with the clear inserts and how it shoes off the CF Brace. I'm sure a tuner will see this and make it

Just too bad there have already been a bunch of threads of YMB M3s at autoshows, starting with the Detroit show two months ago. And many other threads of interested BMW buyer's intently looking for high quality photos of the cars in other colors. Fail on this one BMW.

Okay, I'm beating a dead horse here, but have tickets and a hotel for Geneva, and my high hopes to see (and report on) other colors are still freshly dashed.
+ 10000 im still wondering why this imposition every autoshow. Ok BMW want sell that colors but cmon this is enough lol

This was a missed opportunity - BMW - and a big disappointment.
In the beginning I just didn't like YMB and AY, thought it would possibly grow on me.... Meanwhile, it's just awful, boring, kind of worn-out.

No, it's just Austin Yellow poorly exposed / saturated. Look at the //M colors in the pics, the overall coloring is way off. The engine covers, etc. look gray not black.

Not criticizing the pics, just don't take stock in the colors.

That is sort of odd. The piping shape is strange too.

+1

I'd rock a partially clear hood if it looked good enough to be a factory piece a la Ferrari and Audi (R8).

Looks like there is clearance to use a flex head socket extension.

Agreed- I believe that the hole is large enough near the opening to accommodate a flex socket.

There probably is a throttle body as a backup in a fail safe mode. Unless they have figured out the reliability in the VVT motors. I'm not positive on that however. Either way I thought they would cross bank the intake tracts running bank one all the way to bank two and vice versa...basically keeping them separate all the way to two distinct intake manifold sides.
Maybe we will see that on a tu.

It also looks like the crank is cast, though it's been explained as forged. Perhaps it's just a mock up engine dissected for display.

I am reasonably sure there isn't... it would defeat the purpose.
