I stand by my European market numbers comparing dealer asking prices there to dealer asking prices here. Great majority over $200,000. Ebay does not mean anything until they are sold and you see the final price. Ebay sellers also tend to be desperate for cash on some occasions and do not always reflect the market.
I only see one at $160,000 in the UK but who wants a right hand drive BMW 😂. Cannot drive it anywhere else in Europe. Japan may be? These are also USED cars. Not new like the OP is talking about for $114,900 NEW. Anyway my point is the are selling for a LOT more there. To finish, the US market is not THAT bad. Only 25 new ones left for sale with only 5 at less than MSRP. There were 29 just a few weeks ago. Out of 400 originally. Total US used AND new at 55 down from 59 last week. Check the Alfa Romeo or the Acura NSX market if you want to see a real disaster in sales. Last edited by jpdchicago; 11-17-2017 at 06:03 AM.. |

Two of which are listed for just over 90k Eur and not selling. That is a 36% depreciation hit. Both cars only have about 750 miles on them. Reality is...these cars are not worth 200k+ in Europe(new or used). Buy one for 200k, then you are going to lose your ass. |

Can’t be bothered to read the thread. ... if you can afford to buy a limited edition M4 GTS , why wouldn’t you?

It is a hell of a deal for that car. Future M4 CS territory but limited edition and 4 year warranty (new 2016 model) instead of 3 for current models.
They all would have been gone instantly If they had priced them at $115,000 from the start. A lot of dealers got greedy (upwards of $50,000 over MSRP). They are now paying for it. Your gain! |

The market on these cars is soft which is good if you’re in the market. You can get that one listed for 103 under 100k.
There are still plenty of them sitting around new collecting dust at dealers and if you wait a little longer (end of December) you’ll be able to strike an even better deal. At this price point it’s tough. There are so many enticing cars at this range that I struggle with what it offers vs others in the same price point (AMG GT/S, 911, GT4, F Type R and even more if you’re shopping used).
