Uh, what's your deductible, coverage, age, marital status?

Also, any points on your license or anyone who lives in the house?

Deductible: $1,000 (My CU gives me 1k towards a deductible in the event of a total loss)

Coverage: What every Germany requires...

Age: 29

Marital Status: Married

Previously, I was insured with TN Farmers Bureau and it was the cheapest I could find. I had my home and autos covered with them. Also, they charged me about $30 a month for full coverage on my new S1000RR. Major companies wanted $3-400 a month for the S1K ( I would laugh and hang up). The catch was they operated Mon-Fri so I couldn't call whenever. And if I needed a tow I had to pay up front then get reimbursed like a week later via check. My rates have easily doubled since moving to Germany. I pay through the nose with USAA and I guess it's for peace of mind? I have no accidents or speeding tickets on my record.

I turned 21 in Nov and just bought my m3 in January and my insurance for 6 months is $1193 and have no accidents or any kind of violations on my record, knock on wood lol. I live in Ar and my deductibles are 1k for all except collision it's 500 (Full Coverage) and I have esurance (I also have homeowners insurance from Allstate so they gave me a bundling discount) but I have heard Geico is cheaper especially if you buy or have a Berkshire Hathway stock and just google all their discounts for your state, usually our (M3/4 Community) cars have all the requirements like drl and just tell them (your insurance broker or agent) you always put your seatbelt on. I want to give credit to BeatTheBush youtube channel he does a great explanation on how he saves money on insurance.

$30 per month on the S100RR way reasonable.

Is $1003 - 6/Mo a good rate for the M3? (State Farm)

It always amazes me how surprised I am when I remember that Bentley makes cars even though I really like the Continental. I just never hear about their company and have only seen one Continental in real life.

wow, $360/6-mo is a steal.
mine goes up to $600/6-mo (M3) from $420/6-mo (E92 335i) with State Farm.

State Farm is the cheapest for me, utilizing multi-line like umbrella and home, but the home and umbrella is not the cheapest compare to other insurance company. At the end I just compare the premium in bundle form, cause if I break them to multiple policies with many insurance companies I lose the discount anyway.

Always good to have no accident or ticket of course. Once you have those in your records no matter which insurance company, the premium is ridiculous, that's why I am house-trained now

I live here also and have USAA. I pay 145 dollars a month for Home, 2015 Q7 and a 2006 BMW 325i. The Q7 has full coverage and they quoted me 200 dollars a month just for the M3!!! I was like WTF are you talking about!! I will have to see what the actual price is once I get my VIN.

I use a local agent (Murray Insurance Group), and the actual Insurance company is NYCM...my wife and I have stellar clean driving records, and credit scores-- oh and this also includes $1million dollar umbrella policy

Shocked seeing some of the rates here... Just added my soon to be new M3 to my USAA policy yesterday. $9xx/6m - 10k miles/yr. And I'm 24 and am in Miami, FL (believe we have some of the highest rates in the country). 6 cars on my policy though, wondering if that is making the difference.

Bodily injury liability limit:
$1,000,000
each person /
$1,000,000 each accident
Property damage liability limit:
$100,000 each accident

Comprehensive deductible:
$250
Collision deductible:
$500

Well we reside in Germany right now so our rates are more like outliers. My rates doubled (just about) moving from TN Farmers Bureau to USAA for my German policy. They will go back to normal when I move back stateside next year. I'm happy to pony up the ignorant rate to rip my M cars on the unlimited autobahn to work every day.
