DD except in the snow or when there is a chance of it. My car wouldn't even get up my minimally inclined driveway with a slight dusting on it. I have a Jeep Cherokee for the winter and it's not been a pleasant winter in Ohio this year.

3.5 years, 42k miles, daily driven in snow/ice/slush/rain/sun.

Thought about trading it for years, as is my tendency with all cars, but it's been too good. 3rd kid on the way making me re-think whether the back seat of this is big enough for my growing family. But I struggle with the concept of anything being "good enough" to replace it.

I'm also all over the map in terms of what COULD replace it. I've looked at audi s6's, audi s5 sportbacks, BMW x5s, BMW 5 series, mercedes e63 amg wagons....list goes on and on.

I've also considered going domestic for a few years and maybe going with a new wrangler + a well maintained boxster or cayman.

I need to find a merc e63 amg wagon and a BMW x3 m40i to test drive as well....

Love having all these options

I can't imagine just letting it sit in the garage all the time. It begs to be driven!

Do you work or live in some really crappy place such that if the car leaves your garage it will get tortured?

lol 1) the commute takes me through farm lands which the roads have lots of mud or dirt. For example, today there was some rain and my DD is literally caked in mud...all of it. It looks like I went off-roading. 2) I don't want people at work to know I have a M3.

It's my daily and has seen all sorts of nastiness this winter.

I also fit three kids in the back, two in slim carseats and then other in an inflatable booster. It's rare that I have all three in the back at one time but when I do, it's very comfortable for them.

My M4 is not my DD. Fortunately (unfortunately?) I have a Ford Cmax company car. Free gas, insurance, and tolls is nice. Not beating up my car day to day is even nicer. That leaves the M4 for weekend fun or after work shenanigans.

15k miles in the first year, 10k of them with an Armytrix exhaust installed. It's nice having something I love driving to work every day, although I have had to improve my pothole dodging skills

Same here, and I enjoy every single time I'm it.

But, come on guys... daily drive your awesome M3/M4, will you?
