I think my GTS is no. 231 of 830

Wish I could post my photo, but it's harder than it needs to be here...I noticed a sticker on my GTS with the following: "0231/05.02.2016." Could this be how we identify what # of 830 is our's?

I actually know the production number of my GTS. I will take a look at the water tank tonight and see if it matches.

How hard can it really be.... it's uploading a photo for Christ sake, maybe ask a random millennial on the street to do it for you ?

My thoughts exactly... you spent twice the amount for an M4+ that I can out perform power wise for under $1000 bucks. Makes me laugh, but a picture will not only cure my laughter, it will bring it to the point where I can't breathe.

I really don't care if it will be a collector or not. I am just curious about that number. I am not trying to beat anyone. It's a nice car and fun to drive. Probably as fun as M3 competition package which I also like but did not buy. I have this GTS and 1M. Enjoying both when I can. Both crazy cars in their own way. No big deal dude.

You could visit your dealer and according to your order, he could tell you your car's production number.

Is it wrong for someone to want to know their limited production car's number? and no one in this thread mention anything about collector status or resale value. Can't believe how a simple harmless thread can turn into shit again.

A while back, E90Fleet posted, in the link above, the serial number sequence. From the numbers, you can determine the # of your car.

There are 3 different set of vin sequence. So there is no way to tell the # just by looking at the vin.

More DTM's added. 81 more LHD, 47 RHD
No more GTS yet
Only 12 GTS left to be built asof today.

EU Left Hand Drive Cars
GTS K576700 till K576708 Pre-Production from May 2015 till December 2015 (9 cars)
GTS K576709 till K576714 Press cars built in January 2016 (6 cars)
GTS K576715 till K576992 (278 cars built asof today)
DTM K576993 till K577106 (114 cars, none built asof today)

EU Right Hand Drive Cars
GTS K577700 to K577701 Pre production model from May 2015 ( 2 cars)
GTS K577702 till K577821 (120 cars, all built)
DTM K577822 till K577888 ( 67 cars, none built asof today)

North American Cars
GTS K578700 till K578709 Pre production cars from May 2015 ( 10 cars)
GTS K578710 till K579111 (405 cars) (393 built asof today)

Total customer GTS 278+120+405 = 803
830 with development and press cars

This all per E90Fleet; I'm just cutting/pasting. Per E90Fleet, of which, he is still out there, could reply/clarify. I believe he said that they run alpha/numerically starting with the letter 'K'.

Just trying to help.

It is on a need to know basis, and it seems no one needs to know except you

I don't need to know, because I already know and have the paperwork to go with it.
