I think it's going to be really hard for you to make a decision based on pics. You have to see MW/AW/BW next to each other or in person really understand the color. Pictures rarely capture the details.

Alpine is very clean and sporty, even when kind of dirty.
Mineral is pretty when it's clean and has that pearlescent sheen to it. It is a bit flat and subdued, but I like it. With the earthy matte of fox red, the car looked art nouveau. I say AW for daily and MW for weekends. The F8X is really cursed with a poor color palette. I hope they introduce more. Black is the only one I would choose now to subdue some of the more questionable design elements. I'd love to see one in carbon black or MCB. |

I don't want to stir things up but I have AW and personally think that mineral white looks feminine. Just my feeling though.
Alpine is bolder and looks sharp with tinted windows. |

I have seen both in person. To many the MW looks almost like matte white. I prefer the MW to AW all day any day

Seriously, its glitters, and has depth giving it a smoother sheen ( silkiness ) when up close. It makes you look twice and is a bit seductive. To me AW is about business ( like cotton sheets ) doing its job. But once you see it, you don't need to look twice. It is what it is.

You bite your tongue! lol naa I thought that way too... MW wasn't even on my radar but I bought this car off the lot so color wasn't too flexible. It was between this and a LSB ZCP w/ speed cloth but the dealer was giving me practically nothing for my b8.5 s4... the dealer I picked my current car up from gave me $2k more than I owed on it so the deal was there... moral of the story, MW has grown on me lol
