What even comes with it besides the charging feature?

How could it possibly be worth that much? I have to believe there are/will be USB wireless adaptors in the stores/Amazon soon for under $100.

Depends on your phone...

Those of us with "phablets" have some fitment issues. I modified my charger to allow my Note 8 to work in there.

My commute is short, so I really haven't had an extensive use case.

The iPhone Plus will not fit in the wireless charger for the F3x/F8x. 6WD is added which is wireless Hotspot: http://about.att.com/story/att_renew...agreement.html

100% useless unless you have one of the few phones it works with (which doesn't seem to be an extensive list).

The iPhone 6/7/8 fits if the case is slim and the X should fit.

I have it and regret it now that I bought the Galaxy S8. It won't fit with the case and I am not going to rip the case off everytime I need to put it in.

Even with my old S6 (which fits easily with the case), the charging was too slow to be of much use. It was a pointless add-on that I wish I didn't get.

My wifi hot spot still has a month left in free trial but I've never used it.

My S8 fits just fine. The Spigen Neo Hybrid case I bought initially didn't fit but with the Rugged Armor case, it fits perfectly:

What do you get with ZEB (Enhanced USB and Bluetooth)... I thought this was now standard.. What do you gain with this that's not standard?

My 6 works fine. I use the wireless charging feature with a qi adapter hidden in my phone case right now.

I just got my iPhone X in and tested it in the car. The wireless charger works and the phone fits just fine. Not sure how fast it’ll charge at the moment. My iPhone 6 Plus did not fit though

While it works, I don't believe it charges very fast at all. I went on a 1-hour drive, and placed the iPhone X in the cradle, while connected to wireless CarPlay it didn't charge at all, although I didn't take note of how it was situated in the cradle and the exact percentage at the beginning. I'm assuming that the charge canceled out the drain from the CarPlay.

I'll pay closer attention next time and post an update.

I'm waiting for one of those iPhone X cases w/ a credit card slot on the back.... will it affect the card if it's in the case during Qi charging? Or does it help to flip the phone so it's screen side down?

In more urban areas waze is pretty much worthless

No accessory is worth it from bmw but they do their job. As stated its retarded my 8plus doesn't fit and how did you rig it so your note8 fit? I got the X anyways and it fits fine. Charges it slowly but so does the usb cable. Its not worth the money but its a nice place to put it while driving since mine always seems to fall into the cracks of the seat and the phone holder on the ac vent keep falling off lol. For waze I just listen to the voice and look at the map when at a stop light or apple maps will work but not with the extra turns of waze. I only got it cause it came with the car and so did the door leds but if had a choice I wouldn't. But since its financed I could care less and kept em. They need to have a remote start option already, it would be awesome to turn her on with the connected app and be ready to roll when you step inside. Wireless charging is cool at home cause you can just pick it up and go but the charger is still wired and its not hard to take off the wire also. Just one of those gimmicks but it is the future lol.

As for charging with the cash and wallet feature propably not. If its too thick you have to take the case off which is a worse hassle than the wire. Wireless usb would be awesome tho whens that gonna come out!

Is it actually hardware, like another USB port?
Is it useful coding, like being able to see texts or emails in iDrive, or is that part of 6NH?

iPhone x works fine.

Worth it for $500? No, absolutely not. Get it if it's a "bundled" package with other things. THink about what you're saying, I'm going to pay $500 because I don't want to leave a $3 cable in my car and plug it in when I need it to charge.


I rarely need to charge my phone in the car, so this isn't an issue. It's an added value for the few times I use it, and works pretty well. Plugging it in works just as well.

Yeah, I hate charging my phone under the armrest since I almost always forget it and have to walk back to the car. Real PITA on the occasions where I have to valet.

Has been my experience as well. 18 M3 with iPhone X.

P.S. I'm still blah about CarPlay. Using a mix of it and iDrive at then same time.
