Ok fine - some hankook v12
Probably because the NT01s wear better than street tires, dont heat cycle out as quickly, and grip is more consistent throughout a session.
Yes but should a beginner jump straight to rcomps?

No, definitely not.

R compounds do not have the progressive break away that street tires do. It would be a false sense of confidence IMO.

Wrong thread, but the F8X is just in a different league as the E9X when it comes to lap times. It has a lighter more nimble chassis, a much stronger engine and more robust brakes. The only area where the E9X has a slight edge is in throttle response, where I found it was easier to precisely position using the the throttle.

I'll be at AMP with ProAuto on the 17th. Probably will bring the M4 if I have time/$ to get pads and tires for. PSS are almost bald.

Your times are pretty close to my M4 times, but I'm not particularly quick in it. I'm actually quicker in my E36, did a 104.7 at West this year in that little car LOL! Hope to see you there. I run in green group.

Except I don't feel bad in gutting and converting e90 to full out track car. F80 still too nice to do that to

I think I'm caught up again. See the first post in this thread for an update on how to post your times to make it a little easier for me especially now that I have decided to include M2 times on our big board.

Basically if you look at the format of the big board, just make the first line of your post like that. If I can copy and paste directly from your post onto the big board, you're doing it right and would help me out a lot.

Just got around to uploading the video of the 1:52.9 lap at Auto Club Speedway from a few weeks ago:

Planning on going to Buttonwillow Friday and hopefully will PR as the weather will be 30-40 degrees cooler from last time I was out there.

Cool, might have to upgrade to R-comps next year.

With Dinan monoball and toe links, can you describe the difference on track you felt with and without them? Considering that mod myself...

The track has gotten progressively worse in condition (bumpy) than when I ran the 2:02 in the F80 M3. Also I had a passenger. I think the M2 would be able to get to a mid to high 2:04 about 2 seconds off the pace of the F80. This is a power track with lots of straights.
