AW M4 Apex EC-7 19" Track Wheels

Just got my track wheel and tire setup for my M4. No more switching around tires on the OEM rims. Setup is as follows:

Suspension: Stock M-Adaptive

Front Wheels: Apex EC-7 Anthracite 19" x 9.5" ET22
Front Tires: Toyo R888 265/30/19

Tire looks about perfect on this wheel, no bulge, no stretch. Factory wheel gap is too prominent with the 30 series tire though. Luckily, the R888 comes in 265/35/19 also which I might try next time when these cycle out.

Rear Wheels: Apex EC-7 Anthracite 19" x 10" ET25
Rear Tires: Toyo R888 295/30/19

I wanted a 10.5" rim, but had to settle on the 10" since Apex doesn't have proper offsets for the F8X. All they have is a ET22 10.5" which would stick out too much. Would need about an ET33 for the 10.5" to work well.

The 10" ET25 is the same as using the OEM rims with a 15mm spacer. The tire bulges a bit, but overall it doesn't look too bad. Fitment will look better all around when I get a coilover system installed. No spacers needed with this setup.

Im getting these wheels I love them and they are race proven, but et25 is to aggressive for 295. I would wait
APEX is supposedly making a wheel offset just for F8X. You should run an 18" et33 with
10mm spacer in the front which looks nice. IM waiting, I love these wheels.

I'm waiting on APEX to deliver something for the F8X as well. I hope it is available soon before the track season starts back up.

Yes, agree 295 would look better with 10.5" rim and deeper offset, but just got tired of waiting. Tired of switching tires around on stock rims. Track season starting up now in southwest US. 18" square setup a good way to go and a little less expensive.

Going to go with coilovers because I track mine a lot and need camber plates. If was choosing today I would go with TCKline, but will wait a few more months to decide.

why 19?

I'm running 18x10 ET33 with 15mm spacer front and 5mm spacer back and they fit my Brembo 380 BBK and are perfect!

Mostly for aesthetics and I already had the 19" Toyos that I was using on the stock rims.

I must like spending more money than necessary. I run 18" square on my E36, while most everyone else runs 17".

Yes looks good, either way car needs a bit of a drop. I'm not bothering with springs since I'm waiting to do a full CO system.

Looks good!
But I'm surprised you are sticking with 19's especially you track so much. I would of sold the 19" toyo's then opted for 18" Apex's and Tires as well. Less rotating mass and tires are cheaper. Looks good though, to each their own.

Wheels worked great today at the track. Did a best lap of 1:05:376 at WHP East Track. Scary close to my PB of 1:05:321 which I did in my E36 track car.

do you think you would have done better with a 19x10.5" in rear. Does the rear wheel feel stable or wiggly.

+1. Rear offset shouldve been closer to +35. If you want dedicated track wheels, priorities become weight, strength, fitment (any problems at full compression/full lock), size (prefer 18s for tire choices and ofcourse cost involved//also idealy proper offset that wouldnt require any spacers). always make sure your suspension tuner checks each corner at full compression so they dont rub, it could cause premature wear on those expensive r comps and fender dmg.
You might get by with dialing heavy neg camber.. But in all seriousness, unless you are track junky, keeping -3~3.5 camber as daily isnt recommended.. Only gonna cause uneven tire wear during daily driving.
