You can ask the owner of that OP to update the sticky. I and many others probably made requests to sticky those so if you ask maybe it'll be done.

Sorry for the bump, but these did not work for me. I've coded NGHB, removed the dongs, easy access seats and a number of other things but for some reason this is not working. When attempting to code the FDL the values aren't writing. Pre-code values in the FDL are saved correctly, but after coding (with no errors reported) and then reading the the coding data again, the FDL has reverted back. Any ideas as to why?

Did you try editing the Werte values or using the checkboxes you see on the right in your screenshot?

I've done both - I did verify though that the Werte values were set correctly after using the checkboxes. The issue is the FDL is showing the correct values when I code - however after re-reading the coding data it has been switched back. It's like the value is stuck in read-only but no errors are thrown because of it. After dinner I'm going to try coding something else and see if those values stick or not.

That is odd. You probably already know this, but if you edit the Werte values directly, remember to click on the symbol I have circled in red in order to transfer the edited Werte to the CAFD before saving it.

Omg...so I figured it out. I would always right-click and *think* I was coding the FDL. However I was just coding the the CAFD folder/ECU sometimes because I didn't click the CAFD file directly. Doh! Freakin software developer and I screwed that up.

You can always blame the poor GUI work of the E-Sys software developer.

If you do not use the checkboxes, remember to do the same change (i.e., replace the "64" in the 5th position with "00") in TMS > Welcome Light 1.

Guys, I had coding done prior to myself picking up a cable and coding on my own. My previous coding had the 3 amber lights coded off when I unlocked the doors so only the angel eyes and eyebrows lit.

I did do the correct Euro LED headlights (friggin love it now!!!) so I had to VO code both TMS's. I coded off the 3 amber lights when the headlights are on (per instructions in this thread) but now the 3 amber lights come on when I unlock the doors.

Does anyone know how to code out the 3 amber lights for when the doors unlock? I could go through each line 1 by 1 in the TMS modules but I don't want to change a werte value that will screw something up.

Has anyone tried coding out the 3 small amber leds with carly or bimmercode?

I use bimmercode a bit for a quick change of settings. In my experience it doesn't allow this level of changes. It really just does basic convenience things. You need to be able to change the Werte values, which I haven't found bimmercode able to do.

Now, since I have a 2018 with LEDs I don't have the TMS module. Still trying to code mine off...

I coded my F86 and it worked using this in both FLE ECU’s:

SIDEMRKLGT_Idx:
Change to 01_VALUE so werte reads only 00’s

LM_ID_LT04:
02_Value = 00

LM04_NAME:
02_Value = 00

Yes. I just did it with bimmercode app and worked perfect to get rid of the 3 corner LEDs. Both TMS modules (right and left) need to be coded.

TMS03 (left)
-Choose section 3005.
-Standlicht Modus 1 and click on F10_524_ECE so there is a check mark next to it.
-Click the Back button and do the same for Standlicht Modus 2.
-Click the Back button and do the same for Welcome Light 1 (if you want the 3 LEDs off when unlocking).
-Click the Back button twice and hit Code in top right.

Repeat for TMS03 (right)
