Last night I coded the following:
- ASD off - Turn off Legal disclaimer - Mirrors fold in on comfort entry - Video in Motion on I did a few of those at the same time and I got a “Chassis stabilization error”. It cleared itself, I went for a drive and all seemed fine and the coding changes worked. |

So quick update. Got the app, got the ob2. My car needs the toggle to be played with when the coding is being written. I know really weird playing with a toggle lol.
But got most of the ones I wanted to work. Just needing anti dazzle and seat belt chime to be off. Oh yeah and can I have the seat move back and forward with on and off Another update. Anyone have a check engine light on only the first ignition (meaning not starting the car) if my memory serves me right it's a soft code that's being thrown not a hard correct |

I just used Bimmercode to code my car yesterday and as others have stated it is simple and easy to use. I like the fact that includes most of the functions the majority of us would want done in a simple easy to use app, it allows coding of multiple cars for the one time purchase and for the folks that feel comfortable doing custom coding it allows for that as well.
My only minor complaint is that there could be some more detail on the site about what some of the options are to make better use of them. |

Used Bimmercode a few times now on my M3 and X1. Find it to be really useful for quick changes, or even more complex changes if they are available in Expert mode. It is not a replacement for some types of coding, as I still can't find the menu to change to ID6 Lite in Expert mode (X1). It's just not there.
One advice if making many changes - code a few at a time. I find that the app times out every few minutes or so. |

There are two options when buying the connector; which is the most preferred?
1.Connecting with the "Vgate iCar 2/3/Pro WiFi" adapter (iOS and Android) 2.Connecting with the "Vgate iCar Pro Bluetooth 4.0" adapter (iOS) |

This app is so cool. Codes simple stuff like mirrors and angel eyes. But can also code LCI taillights if you have the old halogen brake lights.
It does do weird stuff after coding the Front Module (i.e. one time it told me chasis stabilization .. but as soon as I turned the car back on, it went away) Enjoy! |

Received mine yesterday, and it's exactly as described; easy plug and play. Took me all of 5 minutes to plug in and code pretty much everything I would want off the bat. Hopefully more ppl contribute to this thread for more help with coding in expert mode.
