I was by South Bay BMW last weekend. I know the new sales manager from Porsche Auto Gallery. They have two Frozen Grey's in stock, one with the carbon wheels. I was offered one for MSRP and included was the LED steering wheel w/installation. I ended up getting the car I ordered through another dealer. Unfortunately Frozen Grey wasn't an option when I ordered mine. Try calling Marc @ South Bay BMW. His cell is (781) 249-7769 (he's from Boston). Tell him George referred you.

Surprised to see the 1M listed. It was popular because of smaller size and limited production but most people thought it looked smushed. I'd never dream of putting it in the same class as an e92 M3 in terms of aesthetics, never mind ahead of it. I remember when the 1M came out, one of the auto-journalists said it looked like a hunchback dwarf...that pretty much nailed it. But looks are subjective, so to each his own. Speaking of which, I think the M4 GTS is an absolute BEAUTY!

I wonder if they've adjusted pricing, last I checked about 2 months ago they wanted $115K over sticker.

Prices are all over the place. From $190,000 down to MSRP for new and from 199,000 down to 129,990 for used (prior owner with 30 miles). Some went up in the last month (40,000+) but most went down (50,000+).
Still no new ones under MSRP.
I bet prices will go back up over the summer, especially if we find out that the future M4 CS comes without the water injection system. That would make the gts one of a kind and push prices up again.

Your last comment about the GTS' beauty underscores your point about looks being subjective.

Of course, that's why I said Speaking of which. It was just an aside. Like the 1M, I would be surprised to see the M4 GTS on the list if we're talking about general popularity of aesthetics. I like it, but no one can argue the looks of the car have not been polarizing.

I hear you. I'm just incredibly biased against huge wings on cars, even for track-focused cars. The only cars that I truly accept it on are the GT4, GT3 and GT3-RS. Cars like the STi, F-Type SVR, GT-R, Focus RS just look silly...embarrassingly so for driving on the street. About 5-10 years ago, people on this forum would be laughing at cars that had them. Boy, have the times really changed!

I really don't think there are 83 GTS's available for sale. More like 30ish? The window on new probably will close by summer. After that it's anyone's guess..
Our dealership has taken delivery of 4 total GTS's, 2 frozen grey's, 1 alpine white, and 1 black sapphire. With that said it's very possible there's likely to be more state side, total speculated figure was 150 if I'm not mistaken.

Most BMW dealers list customer order cars on their site even tho they are not for sale just to get people into the dealership.

How could you get so many? My dealer (Fields BMW) only got one (which I bought) and the Chicago area only got 3 or 4 total (all dealers included).
They are all selling now though. I have seen some prices going back up already. Spring is almost here!
Most fun car I have ever owned!

Three weeks ago there were over 90 on cars.com. Now there are ten and five of those are under the McKenna umbrella (includes South Bay BMW).

BMW dropped a bunch of cars at once. Those cars are being sold. Once they're gone, that's it for new ones.

A guy I know bought one and tried to flip it for a profit. When that didn't work he traded it in on another car. That dealer (non BMW) wholesaled it for $128K. That's a pretty strong wholesale price.

I used to call them shopping carts. I sit with my M4 beside my GTS often and stare. The wing works in my opinion. If the wing was absent the front lip would not work, more so from a functional piece, but also visually. The wing actually gels with the visible roll cage. Again, subjective.

I don't have an issue with a wing on the GTS, but think dudes who slap them on their car to tool around LA looks silly.

That's good question, I ask myself that every time... We do own 2 BMW stores, but not entirely sure how many our sister store got(South Bay BMW).

My local dealer received 4 as well. I know the sister store received at least 1. Glad I got to see them!

With spring around the corner, I would not count on getting less than MSRP from now on...

FYI for anyone considering a GTS, prices are just starting to go back up. Noticed a few price adjustments this week, back up after going down over the winter on cargurus.com and other sites. A few still around at MSRP. At least three forum members bought one in the last two weeks...
Still out of luck in Europe at around $200,000.
Fun car at MSRP. Over $150,000 would get you into GT3 territory. Porsche would be a better choice at that price. Assuming you can get a 2017 GT3 before next year...

Autotrader.com still lists 84 cars for sale nationwide as of this minute. I know that's including plenty that have already sold, but it's also just as many as were for sale a month ago, and it looks like far more are at MSRP now, especially on the West Coast.

As I posted a while ago and, as you mention yourself, a lot of those have been sold. I know since I called myself at the time and they are still there. Actually there are a few bait and switch ones as well and/or you find out it is not really MSRP.
Dealers have a habit of letting those kind of postings last for weeks after a sale in any case. Good way to get the initial phone call at very little cost.
The main thing is that it is the first time since December that I have seen prices going back up for some of the listings.
I was just letting you guys know in case you were on the fence.
Nothing in it for me. I already have mine and enjoying it every day...

Wagner BMW in Shrewsbury, MA still had a BSM GTS available at MSRP as of last week, FYI, they want to move it and with that being said, they seem to be a motivated seller.
