Or 100 cars have had such large problems or been damaged in transit they have been replaced. Im sure we would have heard about this if so.

Or some may be press cars or BMW executive cars and have not been listed as such. But 100 is a big number for that.

Maybe BMW are keeping a bunch for a racing series ??

A few may be DTM edition test cars, but since its so close to the CSL it cant be many.

We will probably never know

Movie and film cars are usually designated as such and I havent really seen any other than one or two pre-customer cars.
No way they would ever have close to 100. They would use 1 or 2 real GTS and the others would be much cheaper clones.

I feel a bit disappointed BMW has made 103 more cars than they promised in their press release.

This move will only hurt the confidence of future limited edition cars future resale perceptions.

The numbers for customer cars could only be out by a few.
The earliest absolutely confirmed customer US car is K578716 as per the advert below and if that was say the first North American GTS then there would still be 399 North American GTS instead of 350

Thanks, that fits in with K578710 being the first US customer car and K578711 being the first Canadian customer car.
