M Performance vs. Stock Exhaust

I found a video comparing the stock exhaust with the titanium M-Performance exhaust. You can clearly hear the difference.

stock sounds good but definitely MPE sounds better, adds that little bit of growl which is missing in stock, makes it sound more natural.. but makes me think bmw did that on purpose to stock so people like me will be forced to buy mpe for 6k.. sad, M4 should come with most performance parts..

Wow, talk about a resurrected post! Thing was out for two years before today!

But yeah - have MPE and it kicks butt. Every M should have shipped with it. Get it, code off the stupid active sound and your enjoyment of the car will go up a lot.

I love my MPE, but I don't think I would pay for it straight up. It's less of a blow if rolled into the car payment, and totally worth it. If you are adding it after already purchasing your F8X, there are probably cheaper options that sound just as good.

I got to live with both (standard during ED and MPE after re-delivery). MPE is perfection and worth every penny IMO. Its perfect to my ears, and everyone comments how great it sounds.

I agree with others that this in conjunction with unplugging ASD is the best way to go.
