I can promise you that this actually sounds incredible in person. I was very surprised. Another shoutout to the guys at TAG for letting me come check it out last night!

Just watched the video, it went from weed eater sound to weed eater with an exhaust leak!

Looks amazing with that Akra diffuser. Sound is meh. Not expecting much from the new M3/M4 in terms of beastly exhaust tones. At most, it just gets louder. Nothing beats the growl of a previous M3 V8.

It is quite nice. Not ground-breaking enough to class as art, but nice nonetheless. I see a few welds that could be cleaner. Maybe the artist had too much wine on break time

Lol this. Pricing on these is outrageous. If I was going to spend that kind of money it better be made of admantium and add 500hp.

The nice thing is, this is just the beginning. There will be a system out that deepens the tone

Totally agree, wish I could justify the price.

Will be interesting to see how this sells compared to the MPE which I think sounds better (at least based on recordings.)

Seems rushed to be the first with audio/video. It's like trying to sell a Ferrari with your nextel camera. Poor execution but hey

I feel sorry for anyone who buys this... Wanting it is a different story.

Custom made mandrel bent SS systems would cost less than 20% of the cost. You could try 5 different mufflers and designs to get the sound you want and still spend less than $3000... I just don't get it. Titanium is great but how many people will actually buy this? 50? 200? A better price point would yield thousands of sales.

In honesty, that sounds worst than my E46 M3 with SS Exhaust.
E9X is still king in the sound department.

Holy crap, that sounds hideous...they would have to pay me 7k to put that on my car, and I'd still be reluctant to do it.

Have people lost complete sense of what a sports car is supposed to sound like?

Moving on...

inb4 'omg, this is expensive' comments. wait a minute, too late.

Gotta pay to play here folks, you dont buy a $80k car to put just any exhaust on it. If you really want an Akra exhaust, wait a few months and buy it used for $4-5k.

If BMW would come out with a car that runs on Spotted Owl heads and Diamonds, maybe I could see it

The evolution is the full exhaust, the 'slip-on' is just the muffler/tips
