Very nice! they did look super clean!

Ahh nostalgia, just as I watch the side and wheel shots the song 'riders in the storm' comes on the radio. I felt like in Need For Speed Underground 2 for a sec.. Wish i could tune the car like that now

Those wheels are WAY too big for a 3/4 series. Looks like a black rubber band around the wheel because the tire is so small. I wish they would've made the wheels in 19 inch. The exhaust sounds good, but I rode in a buddy's F80 M3 this weekend with the MPE and it sounded much better. I don't think it's fair to compare the two.

The seats are incredible though, and the black exterior with the black badge does look pretty good!

Curious to see if the ASD is altered to any sort of level on the new ZCP.

I like that the ZCP sounds like it has pops and burbles not overrun flatulence.

Really disappointed in BMW for this overrun farting in our cars.
My 335 suffers from this overrun farting as well any ideas in regards to the cause

In the coding thread, it has been confirmed that values are different in the ASD module for the CP.

I'm no expert. I know it's just ecu tuning, so hopefully we can reflash or whatever to the ZCP tune. That Gintani with pops and burbles sounds horrible and forced. I like the way it sounds on Porsches and even Audi RS models.

The ZCP seems to have it done in a good way as well so here's hoping we can reflash the ecu, I don't really car for any other part of the ZCP except that exhaust sound and what possible tune the rear diff may posses, everything else is just subjective preference in my opinion.

Something about deposits accumulating on the inside of the tubing etc.

DustBuster-ish "whiz-whiz" sound.
Except on overrun.

For those that have heard CP exhaust and MPE exhaust in person, does it sound any better than in the videos online?

I have an M Coupe with the S54/muffler delete, and every similar video I've seen online the exhaust sounds like a crappy 4cyl with a broken muffler. Absolute garbage. But in person, the exhaust sounds great and I always get compliments when at the track.

I'm hoping the F80 is similar? Really, REALLY hoping...

Dude, I'll tell you what, I was on a rally the other weekend riding in my friends open top 65' Mustang Cobra. An F80 M3 was in front of us along with a new C63 AMG right behind him but still front of us. The new AMG sounded really really good, the barks on downshifts sounded dam good. but we couldn't even hear the F80. Ridiculous.

Ive heard the new C63AMG sounds good, but surely not as good as the previous NA V8 6.2 lump...? I'm praying the new CP sports exhaust sounds better in the flesh/metal... if not, then the MPE is defo going on. as that does sound exotic and pretty damn good! my M135 has the MPE and sounds awesome and makes me laugh all the time in sport with its infectious pops, bangs, crackles, barks, growls etc... you see people hitting the deck when you drive through a town and lift off, as they think it's gun fire don't get me started on the Capristo exhaust on my TTS

I heard the ZCP first time this weekend at Thermal. It sounded so good I had to call and add the package to my build on the spot. Not to mention in person the wheels looked good. I did not like them from pictures.
This is a diff sound and I don't think there is any reason to get the MPE over this. I think the sound may even be better for my ears. It is tuned to do different things then the stock or the MPE. Its hard to explain.

On a side note they were press launching the NSX also while I was there. I have to say that car is sick.

The ZCP package just doesn't do it for me. The AA exhaust is music to my ears, leaps and bounds over stock or the ZCP. The 20s just aren't my thing. I have heard a few comments about a rougher ride in all settings. And the minimal up in stock HP to 444 just seems lazy, 450 sounds better. It's (probably) just an increase of 2psi of boost. And many people who are interested in more HP are going to run a JB4 or something anyway. So in the end it's really a cosmetic thing...

That said, I'd forgive them of all of that if the car came with the CF hood from the GTS, or if there was something else in weight savings.
