Drove this car yesterday, and it's definitely a beauty. Alpine white looks so much better in person, and the design on these new M's is considerably more aggressive (IMO of course) than previous generations. Pictures of AW don't pick up all the lines.

I was impressed with everything about the car, including the steering, exhaust note, suspension (this demo has every option EXCEPT adaptive suspension).

The DCT shifts in a way I don't even feel comfortable calling it "shifting"-it's that fast and smooth. I still would not get the automatic, however, as I felt more detached from the driving experience.

The sunroof (and consequent carbon fiber roof delete) is something I would suggest people forgo, as the carbon fiber roof helps set the car off as an M.

Oh, and if you're looking at buying an M3 or M4 or any other BMW and you don't have someone at Schomp helping you out yet, find Jesse Esquibel-the guy is great and he really knows his M's! He is the real deal and his own M3 should arrive in July. In my experience it's rare to work with anyone at a car dealership who has an expert level of knowledge about the car you're buying and can match your enthusiasm. Plus, it's a no-pressure environment, no heavy-handed sales techniques.

I drove this car today as well. All I have to say is wow!!! I love everything about the new M3!

I bought my E46 from Schomp back then. I assume everyone is getting at MSRP? If don't want to post here, can you send me a PM.

Also, anyone know how long the wait list is for Schomp, Murray or CO? I figure I ask here before I speak to the dealers.

Thanks!

Thanks man! Just replied. Oh man I just saw the car you have on order. I would love to see the SO interior. I'm thinking of that also. Also, going with 6MT. I had my share with my E46 and SMG. Back to the old fashion way of shifting gears!

Hopefully you got some info. They told me to expect September delivery on my M4, and also that I got their last allocation slot for the year.

I think Schomp will actually do a little off MSRP.

Hope that helps-definitely go with the manual! Totally different (and IMO better, more connected) driving experience!

Yup. I got some info from JDUni1. He was kind enough to send me a PM. I'm good with getting the car next year or so. I alway buy 2nd year + to get all the kinks out. When I got my E46, I could have got a 2001, but decided to wait for the new year production. That was a good thing back then since the had issues with the rod in the earlier models.

Thanks for the reply.

Hmm I'll have to go check one out this weekend now that the dealers have them! Would love to purchase one but they are a bit more $$ than I want to spend at the moment. Plus, I'm thinking I want to experience the V8 of the previous gen' before going f8x

Congrats, very cool! How long until the M4 reaches Denver?

I am debating the same journey next summer (ED for a new M3).

Pretty sure I saw an AW M3 last week driving up near the Orchard center (I-25/144th). First one I have seen in person.

Congrats! Now for the waiting part

Dropped mine off June 28 and it'll make port in LA Aug 6. Fingers crossed it makes it here in a couple weeks after.

I assume you could score some pot and that's probably what is happening all over Colorado tonight. LOL.

Cheers.
