M4 with a little track rash

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I over corrected the reared and it snapped around on me pushing me into embankment. Looks like I smashed in the front coolers and the bumper. I am hoping its not much worse than that. Started fine but oil was coming from a cooler so I shut it off. Glad no bags went off.

Yea the coolers are busted. Looking for a picture of a M4 without the front bumper to see what the coolers look like.

Sorry about that. But look at the bright side. It is the perfect time to get the euro bumper!

I was thinking the same. Can I get one with parking and camera holes?

I am sure you can. These options are available in European markets. The trick is to find the correct part number and actually procure the part.

And the insurance rates continue to rise...

Sorry for your car, but you're ok and the damage could have been worse.

Doesn't look too bad but I think you may be waiting for replacement parts for a while.

Damage doesn't look too bad and you are OK.

Did you have DSC off? I find the car difficult (impossible) to get the rear to come out with DSC on. I don't know your experience level but I probably wouldn't take the car out of MDM on the track until you get a bit of experience. Over my track years, I've only had one "facing the wrong way" experience on a track and it was in my 2nd E92 M3. I figured I knew enough to disable DSC entirely and then figured out that same day that I didn't No damage but no fun either.

Ouch, sorry pal! How are you going to handle it with insurance? Probably $4-5k in repairs...Where were you? Ironically, you're probably less likely to get into an accident while on a track. A friend of mine has a 1968 Ferrari 330 GTC. People are surprised he tracks the car; actually safer than driving down the road.
