12mm all around also works without issues.

Anyone have issues with removing the lug bolts? I have broken two breaker bar adapters and have been unsuccessful with the impact gun... getting desperate - used liquid wrench and waiting on the soak now, any suggestions would be helpful! It's a '16 CP and the only thing I can think of is the dealer had to replace my tire due to a flat and they must have torqued the shit out of it..
I am attempting to install 10mm MS all around... Last edited by m3nub; 04-22-2017 at 12:26 PM.. Reason: clarification |

Possibly driving and heating up the rotors with some aggressive braking might aid in breaking them free with a breaker bar. Always replace overtorqued lugs to be safe.

Managed to use my heat gun to heat the hub and remove four of the five. The fifth is toast... not sure what to do at this point...

High torque air impact tool with tight impact socket (Hazet or so) should do it. And heat the hub again, it is aluminum alloy, so it will help a lot

That is correct. Aggressive but still safe. Some have gone 15/15 or more depends on tire brand or size at that point

I'm on the stock size MPSS tires, not planning on changing so hoping it's a rub free setup with the Swift's and 15/12 on my F80

Its a tried and true setup, should be perfectly fine.

Installation In DFW
I think i am going to be ordering 15mm/12mm F/R spacers pretty soon.
Not sure I trust myself to do the installation correctly myself. I have done some digging in the DFW area and come up with a place called "Clown Shoe" that specializes in BMW race cars that will do it for $55. Does anyone know anywhere else that had a good reputation that could get this done for me locally? Thanks in advance for any advice! |

I just did the Eibach lowering springs with 12mm/12mm spacers front/aft on my M4. Pretty flush and no significant change in steering behaviour.
Found the front with 12mm just a bit too aggressive. Would rather change to 10mm or 5mm front, but heard from my installer that this would be 'own risk'? Not really sure what he meant by that?

Might be a dumb question, but just want to make sure. Any idea if E9x spacers will work for F8x? Guessing I might just need to buy new lug bolts. Friend's got some spacers from his E92 so thinking about trying them out.

Correct, the spacers are the same buy tou would need to replace the wheels bolts to the bigger 14x1.25 pattern ones.

Anyways I'll be doing 12 (f) /15 (r)..on stock suspension and I plan to lower with M Performance suspension (has) next year. Will the 12/15 still be ideal... or is the reverse more popular now with a 15 (f) / 12 (r) on a lowered setup? Ps. Just ordered some spacers from y'all. Looking forward to doing the install myself. |

I installed the spacers today... questionable lift placement on the rear. Where do y'all normally place the points when using a 4 point lift?
