We seem to be limited on tire selection for an 18" wheel. Is there a chance you will do the same testing on a 19" wheel?

It's actually the other way around. If you read the OP, this thread is about finding the widest fit for track/race purposes. In that respect, there are much more r-compund/race tire options in 18" size compared to 19".

From the OP:
Quote:
Selecting a race-worthy fitment is not as simple as getting a wheel to sit flush with the fender. Our testing consisted of checking inner & outer clearances while the cars were both up on the lift and also on the ground. The range of full droop and compression needed to be reviewed as clearances change throughout the suspension’s range of motion.

Here is the million dollar question for me. Can you get a set of wheels with tires 275/305s in the car to bring to the track?

Yes, that's what I do for every track day I go.

Two 305s and a 275 go in the back seat, lined up next to each other. The other 275 goes in the trunk with my floor jack, jack stand, a big duffel bag for various tools, a crescent tool bag, and a high torque impact wrench (stored in a case).

My setup is Apex EC-7 18x10 and Nitto NT01 275/35-18 front, 18x11 and 305/35-18 rear. I can fit all four wheels/tires vertically in the back seat of my M4. It's a tight fit, but it works. I use this seat protector to prevent damage to the seats. The rear tires have to go in first, in the middle. One of the front tires then goes in from the driver side. The remaining front tire then goes in from the passenger side. It helps to have another person holding the first three tires in place from the driver side, but I've done it myself. It's not the easiest thing to do, but it frees up the trunk for a floor jack, tool bin, suitcase, helmet, etc. I wish I snapped a picture the last time I had everything loaded up.
