That pic does look good, I had BSM on my 335i and I really like the colour but I still feel that at any sort of distance it makes the M4 look like a 4 series.

The individuals are just as bad as the standard colors. A weird silver, two very, very dark almost black blues, and a brown. Where are the medium light colors? The mid blue and the mid grey? I don't get the palette for these cars leaving most of us with either a few highly common and boring choices, something weird or outragous. Poor job with the palette BMW. These nice looking design deserves better.

Sorry to rant guys but I love black cars and wanted to defend them a little bit
We are on a forum to discuss and talk about this car. People have opinions and this forum is a means to voice your opinion. If everyone liked the same colour it would be a boring place to be. People can say what colours they like and what colours they don't like if they wish and even explain why if they want to!

Are you really annoyed that some people don't like the colour you like ?!?! Are you really going to ' lose it ' if someone else says black hides the cars lines?

Anybody have any idea what color is the interior? Looks almost white, but they only offer silverstone which has a slight bluish hue.

Back on topic......BSM is a great colour but IMO it does hide the cars lines.

I think BMW could have picked a color to show off the M4 lines better, why would they stick such a dark color car in a dark corner surrounded by black walls?

Cringe, smh.......BMW better come way more correct then this f80 M. Lexus RC-F may be a game changer. Considering the IS F sport beat down the 335 msport in all comparisons this year, I think most that are displeased with where BMW is going will look to Lexus for an alternative.

BSM is a nice color and looks like a dark sparkly grey when polished however

I feel jet black captures more light and contrasts/accentuates the carbon roof

Jerez, azurite, carbon blacks
Tanzanite, Monaco, imperial, lemans blues

Midnight blue is ok, ruby black is ok, diopside is ok, citrine is ok

San Marino is nice and so is avus

I don't like eb2, montego, interlagos or the intermediate ocean like blues

Could not have said it better. Very disappointed. I'm sure they'll change up the color offerings in a year or two. Atleast I hope..

I saw this car the the auto show today... the car is getting abused. Swirl marks and scratches are visible all over the car. I'm sure the guys constantly wiping it down are just adding to the swirls, but people must be running their rings/zippers/buttons/belt buckles/etc all over the car. Reminds me why I don't want a black car again.

Best SB picture Ive seen yet. Im embarrassed to say I cant confirm what wheels are on that car. The dark one or the lighter ones? Lighting washes them out. Thanks for the link.
