Checking in!

Hello everyone!

NE forum has been on the quieter side this winter. Hope everyone is looking forward to the new driving season. Still consider myself part of the f8x community even though I sold mine. If you're new to the f8x, then welcome!

Chime in, let us know how you're all doing and if you upgraded/modified anything on your cars or plan too

A few of us are also working on a cruise list this year. Let me know if there are any places you think would be good to drive too...wanna make this year even better then last

Hello Back!

My M has been in storage since early November. Provided no new snow and the temps being within reason (i.e. above freezing), I will bring it home within the next two weeks. Though I'll be honest, I am considering moving on from the M. Part of the reason is that I don't have the time to drive it. Most of the time it is impractical for me to use it as a DD. I will not make a quick decision. Rather I'll wait until May (or so).

Perhaps we can get a road trip (or two) in by early to mid-May.

Just in case I do sell it, I will not be adding mods. Plain and boring, factory stock.

How do you like the 135i?

I was just checking the NE board on the M3/M4 site to see if anyone is thinking about driving the fun cars yet. I have an M2 and still have my 2013 135i. I have been rotating between my two fun cars and my truck. I have managed to get 800 miles on the M2 since December and 300 miles on the 135i. I will be listing my 135i soon, it is a DCT, Msport package plus a couple other pkgs. 30kmiles and 5yr/75kmi warranty.

33k miles and counting. New tires on the way for summer and we are in business.
And the car is stupid good as a dd. Ive been to home depot each day for the past week grabbing something and never ran into an issue. I could probably even learn to consolidate trips, but then what's the fun in that?!

Looking forward to the cruises. Will be an awesome assortment of cars to pull us along!

You now have more miles then my f80 did lol..you really should make less trips, you're polluting the environment.

M2 is such a good looking car, two friend of mine just picked theirs up! Would be cool getting all of you together for a few pics haha...not many M2s running around here.

Clean 135i too, I ended up picking one up after selling me f80. Stuck the pure turbo in it and a few other goodies, so just waiting until end of march to get the custom tune loaded up.

Moving on as in selling it and picking up another sportier car, or moving on in general? Your car is a looker! lol combo is will definitely get a few cruises in beforehand if you do decide to sell.

Loving the 135i so far, its a go-cart, can't wait to load the tune up haha...but I do believe this is going to be my last BMW...looking at a few other options for the next project

Advan GTs are really nice, good choice with those. What tires are you mounting? The ones that came with the car or going with something else?

Moving on from the M4 and selling my Jeep GC. Going with a new DD. If SUV, options include Macan GTS and F Pace. Though I haven't test driven either vehicle. I like the idea of enough space and good handling (per reviews). If sedan, I'm not sure.

I met somebody at my health club today who has a E92 M3. I encouraged him to read this forum and join us on one of our future cruises.

Not yet. I'm waiting until spring before I start my evaluation including test drives.

With the potential of a foot of snow coming this Tuesday, I guess spring will be delayed. Here's hoping for warm weather and a a quick departure of the white stuff and subsequent sand & salt.

The M4 has been in the garage most of the Winter, but came out a few times when weather seemed favorable, and in for scheduled service. Can't wait for March to be over and spend more time driving it.

Hello! New to M3s and this forum. Picked up a CPO '15, so far I've added the VSC-2 exhaust flap controller and MPE. Have some track days lined up in April so will do fluids, pads, and a new set of tires, then will decide after that what it needs. Absolutely loving the car so far, coming from a '16 WRX so in comparison there's no turbo lag and the torque curve is mind-blowing.

Your car didn't happen to be at BMW Sudbury a couple weeks ago getting the mpe put on, was it?

You bought that mpe from my friend michael, right? He thought you had bought my aw f80 lol because it was the exact same build (besides mine being a '16)...I'm one of the managers at BMW Sudbury.

I did buy the exhaust from Michael, drove to your shop right after and by the afternoon was driving around with it.

Looking forward to getting the summer tires back on too, have only had them on the car the day I picked it up in Jan.

Th tech that put it on is really good..one of my personal choices who fully did up my two 335s and two M3s.

Enjoy the car man! Love the sound of the mpe on the f80 platform. You'll have to join us on some cruises this year

Same here... and oh look another storm! We could see another 5-20 inches (depending where you live and what weather site you use) this weekend. I was hoping to swap tires, instead I'll be shoveling.
