M4 Competition - any changes for the 2019 models?
Wondering if the 2019 M4 Competition will integrate any design or engineering changes to the vehicle? Or will it be a clone of the 2018 model?
Planning to order an alpine white model later in the year for European Delivery. Greatly appreciate any insight! |

See above. And to answer your question. No, nothing new, except for some minor options that are now standard. Don't expect to see another big visual update to the car before the next gen.

Other than feature/packaging changes as found in the guides in the above linked thread, don't expect much in the way of updates. Small nuances (if any) as far as running changes to fix issues or cut costs won't be known until the cars are in owners hands.
One thing you may have missed - there is a reported plan to switch from carbon fiber to steel for the driveshaft. I'm not sure if they have started using those yet or what the status is. Please see the master thread on that for the latest. |
