Is BMW still producing the F80? Update: Production through at least 7/18

So I have a new screenshot from the VIR, shows a confirmed pick up date and time but no production week yet. I’m not surprised since the pickup date is 8/24 but anyway.

Did someone want to see some info from the VIR? PM me.

Interestingly enough, which seems to also support the info on potential delays, is I just checked My Garage and tracked the order. The website now shows that it has gone backwards from Step 2 "Scheduled for production" to Step 1 "Your order has been received, and we're making space in the production schedule."

Just checked MyGarage and my f80 is now in step 2 (scheduled for production). Woohoo!

Side question, I had configured the 437M BLACK wheels, however, in myGarage it just simply says '19" M wheel 437M w/perf nonrft' and no mention of them being the black version nor are there product codes to indicate which they are.

Does anyone else have the 2VZ Style 437M BLACK wheels and in MyGarage it only states '19" M wheel 437M w/perf nonrft'?

Should I call my CA asap and get this changed?

Mine did the same (Tanzanite). I called Genius, and they still said it's scheduled to start production week 26...

I'm holding off until next May. Want another year with my DD. Was only going to ED this year in the fall because of the M3 but not possible anymore. Also building a new house that should be done in November, so trying to get through that first.

M4 Comp fully loaded with San Marino (if it is finally a standard color).
C63S (matte grey, the new facelift with the digital interior)

Still loving my Ms, but that AMG exhaust is intoxicating to hear. Good thing is I have time and connections at both BMW and MB, so don't really have to worry about allocation or discounts.

I'll be Germany again latter this fall for the 2 day M5 BMW M Fascination Nordschleife training. Have thoughts of the M8, as my F83 feels unstable past 160 mph

You gotta stay loyal to BMW, F U MB! I have feeling SMB might become a standard metallic color, BMW needs to pull rabbits out of hats to keep moving coupés/cabriolets, since X sales are now more than 50% of US sales. Factory's have to keep manufacturing.

Called Genius this morning. Told me there was some delay, couldn't tell me what kind of delay. I've been at status 150 for almost 3 weeks now but he said my build would for sure be done this Friday.

Dealership told me if I wanted to order one this weekend, there's an almost-8-month wait period...not sure how that's affecting you all who've already ordered, but thought I'd relay for a heads up.

That logic is not sound, as one car is nearing end of production and the other is not.

After weeks of going back and forth on the tracking website from "Order Received" to "Scheduled for production"; finally in "Production begins" and have been assigned a VIN!

I put my order in in May for the F80 in Tanzanite; and until now I haven't been 100% confident the thing was actually going to get built!

I called BMW because it was going back and forth, the guy couldn't confirm for sure if my car was impacted or not, but did say there were a bunch of delays due to parts that didn't meet QC and they had to reorder.

MRCUR Your dealership probably has a 8 month delay to secure an M4 allocation. It's a typical dealership sales pressure tactic to order now if your on the fence.

MRCUR Your dealership probably has a 8 month delay to secure an M4 allocation. It's a typical dealership sales pressure tactic to order now if you're on the fence.

I'm not the one looking for an M4 allocation...
