Rear manual sun shade question

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I am tempted to get full leather but I noticed that this option comes together with manual sun shade for rear side windows (sedan).

From the pic below, there is little plastic piece that sits on top of shade so that you can pull it up. Is there going to be way to hide this thing?
I find it extremely disturbing. Why do they have to include sun shade with full leather?

It can't be hidden, but you really don't notice it after awhile. My sunshades stay up anyway.

P.S. I believe the manual rear door sunshades are $350 extra. Only the rear power sunshade is included with the leather.

To clarify, if you go with extended it's automatic?

That piece lays flat against the interior of the door, you will not notice it. Or you can stand it up against the shade itself.
