My thoughts exactly. I would consider doing it if it can be easily returned to factory finish when I have to return the car - I'm just leasing mine. But as far as I know hydro-dipping is reversible so I might look into it.

No......not a fan of all black 666s they lose a lot of design. Aftermarkets would look better.

I wanted the Black wheels for my 19's
and have gone back and forth on my feelings on the 19" Silvers the comp 20's to me look best in Silver Not a fan of this style wheel in Black. They get lost way to easy for me. But I know there will be a lot of forum members who prefer the Devils Dubs in Black

To my eye they look a little smaller in black and look larger in silver.

I agree that they get lost. But think about photographing black wheels in general, its never representative of what they actually look like. Take for instance the black semi gloss wheels on M5/M6.. horrible in photos, incredible in person

Looks so much better, definitely tones down the busy kaleidoscope look nicely.
From my perspective at least.

Well it's... black.
Same effect like with most black wheels, the wheelhouse just gets lost. Same happens with the design (which maybe could be a good thing if you don't like the design, but this can't be the solution IMO). |
