You didn't have any issues with 10 mm spacers? I've read this warning note on Turner's website, which scares me off of less than 12:

A note about 10mm spacers: Any 10mm spacer is considered a custom fitment. The stock hubcentric lip on BMWs can stick out by as much as 11mm. A 10mm spacer will bottom-out and leave a gap between the spacer and the hub which seriously compromises safety. The best way around this is using a larger spacer (12mm and larger do not have this issue) or check that the lip sticks out less than 10mm. In some cases you can modify the hub lip to get the 10mm spacer to fully seat on the hub.

And same with 5mm spacers:

5mm spacer note: a 5mm spacer sits on the existing hub lip but leaves less than 5mm of lip for the wheel to rest on. Therefore, wheels that have a bevel around the center bore will not engage the hub lip and may reseult in a vibration.

No issue at all. I'm not the only one running 10mm on ZCP if you look at that ZCP spacer thread on the forums. Nothing like what you quoted above at all in my case.

10mm all round on my competition M3. H&R spacers and no issues at all

You need to ask your salesman, he should know about BMW individual. You won't see the colours on a system as there is so many of them, some at varying costs.

For example, San Marino blue in the UK is £1900, fire orange was £3600.
