M4 with 3" full Titanium exhaust with catless downpipe

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I just found this from youtube.
Exhaust and downpipe is custom fabricated by company named Black Label Industries.
Enjoy

Exhaust featured in this video is race version (no resonator and no rear muffler).
They do also have touring version which has resonator and muffler with optional valve flap control.

This system is offered is 4 variants, 1: Full Titanium with Downpipes as show in video. 2: Full T304 downpipes back exhaust with resonated and non resonated options. 3: Optional Cat Back only system that pairs to stock OEM downpipes with capability to add downpipes in the future. System is completely modular, so adding and removing resonators can all be done with a single system to get the best of both worlds. 4: Downpipes only available that pair to OEM exhaust.

Welds and build quality looks top notch. Needs a muffler and some resonators though. I'm sure it makes a ton of power.

This system was developed by the customers request to make maximum power. The video unfortunately doesn't as most exhaust videos allow for the end user to get a great representation. This exhaust is loud, but that is by design. The production system they state in the description is incredible and offers very aggressive, more "low growl" the rasp is also not there.

I hope that's a dedicated track car because that would be so annoying to hear on the street.

I got sucked into the custom exhaust idea with my E92. It sounded incredible, but the drone was almost enough to explode my ear drums. I can't even explain the drone. It was insane. I had the exhaust on my car for about five days.

Sounds awesome!!!. a lot of "production systems" offer drone as well, a lot of it. It really comes down to finding what exactly you want to live with, vs want in your mind. I have been through the same thing. I personally love loud, always have, but I know that generally comes with some level of drone. That E92 is gorgeous BTW

Any videos on how the touring exhaust sounds like?

I just feel the race exhaust is a little too loud and raspy which I don't really want.

So someone finally straightpiped the M4. I've been waiting to see what it would sound like. Nice and loud just the way I like it, but it does have that characteristic annoying S52 boy-racer sound that I thought it would unfortunately. I'm wondering that if some mufflers were designed in a specific way that a better less annoying sound could be achieved.

There seems to be a consensus so far that a straighpiped turbo inline-6 doesn't sound good, where-as the straightpiped version of the S63tu reverse-flow V8 garners a sweeter sound, especially above 5,000rpm where the engine starts to sound like a Ferrari on that engine. I really just wished the inline-6 had a better sound, but then again, I've always loved S54 and its sound, either with a stock exhaust or straightpiped. Hmmm....

That exhaust is hideous! The tips look like they were an afterthought and they sound terrible. I wouldn't last 10 seconds in that car before I asked the driver to stop and let me out, out of sheer embarrassment.

Going to take some work to find the right exhaust setup, just like the E46 M3.

There really is no in between for M4 exhausts...either you love it or want to smash it and spread Nutella on it.
