SCOTT already answered that. They do, indeed, illuminate, but they weren't on for the show.

Love it! The color looks great on it too. BMW, will you give me one? Pretty please?

Will you get a chance to listen to the audio? Looks like it has the upgraded audio. Maybe you get a chance to ask if it's the unit from the F30 or a higher end HK system?

European Deliveries or stateside? Assuming a person was able to get one of the first ED M4's, should they plan on a trip to Germany in May, June, or July?

I was just going to comment on the brakes. These cars are equipped with the current M-Sport/Performance calipers (..from the F30/32) with the CCB disks. What happened to the gold calipers with more pots?

As you move between the M3/M4 and for example the M5/M6 is it a similar premium feel in a smaller package or do the F8Xs feel closer to the lower end F3X as far as interior quality go? In the pictures it looks like BMW done a pretty good job in raising the quality of the interior with the new seats, the full leather and extra CF trim.

The standard 4/2 brake setup for the F80 M3 appears to be identical to the 4/2 setup that F30 owners receive when they opt for the M Performance Brakes.

Edit: Just saw you beat me to that observation.

I guess one possible answer is that the standard brakes are just going to be the M Performance Brakes carried over from the F30. That setup features a 4-piston Brembo fixed caliper up front with a 2-piston Brembo fixed caliper in the rear.

You'll have to shell out extra crash for the carbon ceramics and bigger calipers.

I currently have the yellowish-gold version of those brakes on my F30, so I may keep them (..rather than sell them when my lease is up) and swap out the standard blue calipers on the F80.

I had those as well (exact same color) when I still had my F30. I was quite impressed with them!

The YMB M3 in the OP does NOT have CCB discs. That car has the std steel brakes, so blue calipers and steel discs.

The other YMB M3 (the one with sunroof has the CCB With yellow calipers).

What brakes do you have? I thought that the MSport brakes on the F30 only came in blue? Can you please post a pict? I was trying to find one but to no avail.

It's a nice car (I am sure there are much better colors than the marina blue), but the problem that I see is that the engine is already maxed out and it may not have much extra tuning potential without expensive modifications like upgraded turbos. The turbos already reach about 18psi, which is a lot. It's a great car in stock form, nonetheless. And the fact that it has a DCT gearbox that can cope with all that power and especially torque in track conditions, is great.

It's quite clear that the discs are different from the F30 M Performance brakes.

Look at those hips!

Jason, curious what you think of this effect in person - does it look as aggressive in person?
