WTT: AWE 90mm tips for 102mm tips

Hello guys. I have a set of Diamond Black 90mm tips for an AWE exhaust. I was interested in trading for *any* 102mm tips. Regardless of color. I prefer diamond black but willing to accept chrome tips

Lmk if anyone is willing to swap. I could add cash if necessary

I looked into it myself and a bunch of reputable shops around said that AWE said it isn’t possible for some reason. Supposedly you need to purchase the exhaust w 102mm and cannot swap. Lmk if u hear something different.

Yes it can't be done, due to the spacing from the pipes the tips would hit into each other and not mount on. I talked to AWE directly about doing it to my audi when I had it

Only thing i can think of is the "Y" pipe is different perhaps, where the tips connect. I will verify once awe replies! Thanks guys

Yes its the Y pipes, AWE told me if I really wanted to do it they would have to sell me new Y pipes and the new tips

Yessir^^! So confirmed that with AWE. And if we wanted to swap the tips, we would have to swap the "Y" pipes also, which is all a direct bolt on to all model exhausts

The yellow Y pipes are pictured below

I did. It was $199 for both y pipes
$50 per silver 102mm tip
$75 per black 102mm tip

Definitely an expensive venture if i wasnt trading hehe

Yeah got a quote for 550 shipped.3/4 weeks to receive. It bit much. Would need to sell mine or trade like you.
