Front jack point

Hey guys... silly question, but where is the front jack point for the M4? I'm installing my front lip this weekend.

Thanks.

It's quite deep in, and you'd need a low profile and long handle and even so, not sure how you can pump the jack! Hers a relevant thread with pics: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1036675

It's a single point situated deep and in the middle up front. You'll recognize it when you see it. Only way I've seen guys use it is to get the car elevated via small ramps, stacked 2x4s, etc. IOT get the clearance for a jack. Otherwise you just won't be able to get a jack to it. Hope this helps!

I jacked up the car like the photo above but on both sides instead of 1 (on jack stands). Worked fine, but you'll want to use a drill/socket for the underside bolts so you don't kill your back and neck. The bolts for the wheel well plastic covers will however require a manual wrench. You won't have to remove the wheels.

I normally just use ramps/chocks in this situation since when using jacks stands you should elevate both the front and rear for safety. I've reached the front jack point by driving on 2x10s first, which is still a tight fit depending on your jack.

What are the 2 rubber points on either side of the oil cooler? They look like they could be jack points as well?
