Red start/stop button

Just got and installed mine (took a while to reach Aus). One thing I'm a little dissapointed in is that the thickness of the red paint is not evenly applied around the sides of the button. Initialy I didn't think that would be a problem as you don't see the sides once installed but after I put it in and it was all lit up I noticed there is a fair bit of uneven light bleed around the button. Anyone else have this?

Hmmmm...... Maybe try paint or use black marker the inside side walls??

I noticed some light-bleed at the top. I think getting that other aluminum circle surround might be the answer.

Be careful when painting inside the button because it's somewhat translucent, you could end up with dark spots instead.

oh I have that aluminum circle maybe that's why I didn't notice anything odd...

Do you have a pic of the unevenness? Maybe reach out to the seller to get a new one?

If it's from eBay, then it's probably some Chinese reseller, they use snail mail to save on shipping costs so you won't get it before 1-2 months

Installed mine today. Used a toothpick to get the button out. Super simple to install, took about 5 mins start to finish. Waiting for the metal ring surround now.

I would love to have a black chrome button. Similar to the black chrome underneath the carbon fiber trim. These red buttons look pretty sweet though.
