The F80/F82 M will have a 7k red line (interior shot and new spy photos)

This does not look like an M specific gauge cluster so I could be wrong but this is what I found.

Yeah, that just likes like the stock Sport Line gauge cluster. I'd imagine it will have more than a 260 kph speedo too.

Good thing my E46 and E90 M3 aren't going anywhere when I want to get the rush of revving past 8000RPM

Except for the M-DCT II shifter from the F10/12/13M and the M steering wheel from the F12/13M it doesn't look like there's anything M-specific about that interior at all. Seats will be differently. Maybe some of the buttons to the left of the shifter?

I guess that's no different from our E9XM interiors. Would have been nice to see the M-specific dash trim, though.

I am sure there will be some kind of M specific dash but it is going to have to be really fricking sweet for me not to swap it out with the BMW Performance Dash. That carbon leather/alcantara combo is to die for.

The M specific bits haven't made it into this prototype yet.

That is why we didn't bother publishing this photo.

That is from the F80 M3 prototype yes. But it obviously hasn't received many of the M trimmings and bits yet.

There does seem to be 1 item that's M-specific: the steering wheel. Note the stitching and the split in the horizontal spoke, similar to the M6.

It is the same wheel as the F12/13M.

Prototypes are tested in stages , once we get closer to the first of pre-production early next year we will start to see the final results , currently some of the earlier cars are existing 3er so therefore the stock interiors remain. But it does not matter whether it is the first prototype or the final evaluation for production...

Every single one is eventually destroyed.

I guess those car are not undergoing chassis testing if they are based on F30 and not the new modified chassis F80.

I think what SCOTT meant was that the interior etc. are from an existing 3er.
What's under it (engine, chassis) may be totally ///M
