Excuse my noobness... but how will this flash be different / better / worse / etc than say bootmod3 or any of the other odb2 flashes coming through?
Price and package does seem very enticing!

Our tune concentrates on keeping the OEM feel of the vehicle with all safety parameters in place. We have our GTS+ like tune to that keeps the vehicle's normal driving feel but has the power when needed. I am sure shortly you will see people comparing all the tunes against each other. We are not looking to achieve top numbers for people with weekend cars, but rather a daily driver but a beast when needed.

Will appreciate more details on this as it will allow more of us to decide. Also are these OEM CS and ZCP tunes like BPM is offering or are their changes made. If different will appreciate more feedback.

I've been looking for a flash tune as close to OEM and possible and knew the flash by Alex was the one for me. Having worked with Alex in the past, I felt very comfortable giving him my business again. So yesterday morning I had the stage 2 OBD flash done by Alex@alpine. My non-zcp M now has oem-like burbles/overrun and the extra HP/TQ is just icing on the cake. As usual, Alex is very professional and efficient. He truly is a master of his craft.

Is it fair to ask if these are your own development files or are you re-selling another tuner's file ?
No disrespect so don't take this as offence to your service. You have a great reputation. Just that now there is OBD flashing everyone is offering it and I'm curious who is actually making their own tuned files or just reselling someone else's. Nothing wrong with selling another brand tune if they are offering it as a service. |

I have a Mac, and no access to a windows computer.
-Do I need to be able to run windows on my Mac or do you have an OSX specific program to flash with? -Does your OBDII flasher use a usb connection? (Wondering if I need to buy an adapter) -Can I come in to have you flash my car and still get the flasher and files to revert back and forth between tune and stock programming? |

So this would not be a problem with warranty if vehicle is returned to stock? or can they still detect it even if removed just like BM3? Please excuse my ignorance. |

Returning to stock would not effect the flash counter, just like all the other tunes through OBDII, this should protect against detection but it is too soon to tell if they have other methods of detection. |

Thank you for the information I noticed that people were getting caught on turbo PSI being higher than normal. Would that be detectable, with what is known so far? If this is the case you got a customer! |

I did read that thread and I think the portion that the guy got flagged for his boost levels is something that was made up by the SA or someone else, if that was the case 1000s of people with jb4 would've been flagged by now. He left his JB4 on and went into the dealership with it under the hood, you can pop the hood and see it in seconds. |

*****UPDATE****
After running the GTS Plus map (stage 2+) the boost is a tad bit more (4psi) increase, this is only a couple runs, I'm sure it will pull even more, the AFRs on full throttle third great was at factory .8. See pic below off my Awron gauge, this is with stock downpipes, akra evo exhaust and eventuri intakes. Have to say this tune is making me love the car more and more. |
