The audible combustion levels can be tuned/controlled with out effecting performance or drive-ability of the vehicle. You can hear an example in this thread here: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...php?p=22840101

In the graphs attached you can see the white line is stock and the purple line is altered. In this example I adjusted the sound up 5000RPM and left it stock upwards as the car is already loud at full throttle. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I finally had a chance to listen to those two clips with good headphones on. The modifications make the stock tune sound like a tractor...

Haha, ya I am mostly trying to work out the rasp in the exhaust as much as possible. The difference is great, hard to hear in videos. Standing outside the car you can really tell the difference, the rumble.

Are these exhaust tunes the newer updated files?
if we got the files before you made these updates are we able to get the newer ones with the exhaust update

Custom tuned exhaust can be requested on any map, as always updates and changes are free just send me an email.

Just did the stage 2 tune with Alex, he's extremely helpful and instructions are very straight forward even though we had about 13 hours of time zone difference, he made the whole process easy and quick, took less than an hour to do it. Car feels silky smooth and drives like a beast.
Highly recommend the tune with DCT flash, thanks Alex!

I am not even sure if the valves are open, it really opens up after 3.5 k and just hoooowls to the red line. Thanks for the pops and crackles.. they are so loud lol and i went for the most conservative tune option on the list .
I will employ a friend to help out with a proper wot run sound capture.

What a great and knowledgeable guy. Prompt to reply, the tune is flawless with zero adaptation period and the power is linear. Really woke the car up and I just couldn't be happier

What about cold start on anytime the car is at idle or below a certain rpm like Ferrari to give it that loud Ferrari idle at the stop lights or when parking and off in normal driving so as not to run the car hot.

A louder/higher idle would guzzle up fuel.

just got my car OBDII flashed by Alex. The service was A+. The tune was A+. What else can i say? The car runs super smooth. At first I couldn't even tell the car was tuned because I was running in efficient mode and took it easy as it was wet out. Well, that all changed when i hit the highway and floored it. holy moly. sports display now showing 580HP (engine). That's nutty. I also had the GTS software, TCU, CS EDC and euro EDM coded. It's crazy good! loving it!!!

Alex is massively underrated.

Great tuner and great customer service.

Doesn't have the usual attack dog squad of the bigger tuners to fight his battles but he let's his work speak for itself.

alex has been beyond exceptional with his service and product. everything that he promises is delivered and he is very helpful in explaining the options offered.

with the gts power and dct flash, the car runs smooth and doesn't skip a beat. the car keeps on pulling and pulling and doesn't want to stop. the power is instantly there and compares to the throttle of a v8 engine. adding in the burbles, the car sounds mean and is much louder with an aggressive force. i have the mangaflow exhaust and a cold air intake and it just screams with power and response.

i couldn't be happier with the way the car runs and drives now. i highly recommend alex to anyone wanting their car to drive like an actual m car should have been from the factory.
