Its all perspective. I don't really view this or other car forums as social media but I can see why some do. It is anonymous after all. Yahoo news has a comment section is that social media?

I obviously meant "traditional" social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc etc...). We all know how that type of social media can get people into trouble. This is a prime example.

I just never wanted to have 500 fake friends, Put on a facade about how amazing my life is to others, Be friends with Home Depot, Reconnect with the dude I sat next to in 2nd grade. The list goes on.

My wife has Facebook which enables her to stay connected with friends around the world. I get it but I want no part of it. I speak with my friends live when we get a chance.

People post stupid ass shit online without any thought of the repercussions

I'd be the first to blame the dealership but this guy is an entitled spoiled jerk. Who knows what further abuse he put that car through that wasn't captured on video? He claims he was driving the car "like an M car should be driven," but what else has he done? The dealership probably cringes every time they see that little weenie roll in with another complaint. If I were them, I'd tell him, "If you're looking for sympathy, you'll find it in the dictionary between 'shit' and 'syphilis'."

Well, all I have to say that he paid for 1100 for them to check what's wrong with his M2, dealer told him his m2 transmission, driving shaft, and all other total 5 things broke. Repair is 7800, after 2 mo he decided just pay it. During pick up the car dealer told him ONLY 2 thing been changed and others are ok. He is asking then he paid for 1100 is for ???

There are two sides to every story and we’ve only heard from this little twerp. Gotta believe there’s more to it. And BTW, his mommy or daddy should take away his learner’s permit before he kills someone.

This has nothing to do about being a rich kid. It has everything to do about an entitled little dork crying on social media trying to get public sympathy. He should go and grow a couple and deal with it on his own.

i feel bad for him. i saw the vid and although it was one sided, it was still something astonishing. i just think New Century could've handled it better, but hey i could be wrong here since we wont be getting the full story.

but yes i will agree he should've went to another BMW dealership to sort it out or try to at least sort it out.

as for the labels of entitled little dork, idk.... give him the benefit of the doubt, could be like the rest of us and worked our way ...... using the advantages of your family is reasonable i think.

Many other members also post how dealer refuses to fix their car under warranty or other issue during service. Do you think they shouldn't post it either?

If you have abused your car beyond the limits, BMW doesn?t have to fix it for you.

If this guy did abuse the M2 right from the start without going through break-in, BMW will refuse warranty and there is nothing you can do.

There have been plenty of people on the forums BSing about their issues and the members here figured them out with inconsistencies in their stories. If we can do so here, it isn't hard for BMW techs to look at the data on the screen to come up with the same conclusion.

Don't be so quick to judge dealerships as the bad guy. Plenty of owners are utter douchebags too.

Don’t forget, dealerships aren’t BMW employees. Any warranty is forwarded to BMW NA. If they say no, then no. If Alex is in the right he wouldn’t have needed to remove his video. I’m Asian myself, you be surprised how many self entitled China mainlanders we have here and it pisses me off.

Yes he did. But when he agree to pay for 1100 to have dealer to check, dealer reported 7800 for 5 things needs to change. Then when he picked up the car, was told only 2 things really need to replace. I don't think this is anything to do with warranty.

I just want to point out that this is actually very serious that dealer also push us around. We have almost no choose but have dealer to fix it and pay for it. We need to post this kind unfair deal online and dealer will come out and clean up.

For video remove, I don't think it was been force to remove, it's probably cover up by dealer.

in the video (before it was taken down) he had said he called BMW NA, and they informed him that they received no such request or any information on his vehicle, which then led to BMW NA telling him to contact his dealer again.

again this is all still a one sided story until we can get BMW to confirm with us, but highly unlikely.

you guys do bring up a good point though, often times when a dealership refuses to even deal with paperwork, it leaves the us little choice. ehhhhh but this happens with alot of brands so i guess im just being a whiny bitch xD

As I mentioned earlier, entitled has nothing to do with wealth. It's expecting to get special treatment for no reason.

The playing field needs to be level... we only get one side of the story here. We can decide if both sides can weigh in for a fair fight.

Do you have proof? My guess is that the little brainiac realized he was on the wrong side of the fly swatter and bailed.

To mr. big,

no I am just guessing since on the video he has all the paperworks. He also did hire two lawyers but maybe he realized he is wrong. There is always 2 side story I agree with you but somehow i feel if he can provide paperwork maybe he is right. But I might be wrong too

To Mr big acting kinda SMALL

SO I saw Alex video and read all the posts and I agree since I don't know the whole situation I cant comment is he right or the dealership, but seeing Mr big (small) talk all this personal stuff about Alex from entitled, jerk, dork and etc. It is so transparently obvious he is straight jealous and a hater I mean comment about the issue at hand but getting personal when everybody is talking about the issue only shows his envy. Dude go through life focusing on yourself don't hate on other people especially that you don't even know.
