I had never seen the 666M wheels in person. Ordered the black 666M and wow...they look amazing in person. Photos do not do it justice. But I came from the 18" wheels in my 2015 because I was not a fan of the 19".

I will say the rubber looks like it is painted on though because the wheels are so big.

I traded '16 non ZCP for '18 ZCP. Ordered ZCP because I wanted a bit of a change.
Love the 666 wheels. Don't like cleaning them. Torque feels less punchy at the low end. Sounds 10 times better. Seats do feel a bit tighter. For those that are getting their 1st f80, not getting ZCP would be just fine.

A few grievances that have nothing to do with ZCP.
I really don't like the new blinker stalk. It took me 13 years to get used to the old one, now this?!?
Which engineering genius redesigned the cargo net? Now I have to unhook the net to open the lower trunk compartment. Junk.

How do you hook the cargo net? Does it attach to the two (red in my car) metal hooks that are attached to the chassis and the two plastic hooks on the inside of each wheel well? This seems like a really dumb design choice compared to what was in the 2015 F80.

The auto wiper button changed as well. It is always on unless you flick it down into the off position. Before it was a button you had to press once each time it rained in between car starts.

That's even worse. I would rather no lumbar support than non-adjustable lumbar support. I was perfectly comfortable in the CP seats (I'm 6'3 195) but I felt like if I gained any weight it would be uncomfortable!
I'm 6'3 and 240 and CP feels just fine. Granted I like a snug fit, so the seats hug me really well but it's still comfortable.

I like the new blinker stalk. Cargo net is the same setup as my E90.
I do hate that you can’t tap down on the wiper stalk in auto to get a single wipe. I have to toggle the speed knob or the whole stalk

Yes it attaches to the 2 rear rings and the colored hooks with the BMW product tag side of the net near colored hooks side.

This was one surprise to me when I took delivery as I was also use to the previous net and was not happy with the change when I noticed it. While the older net was more convenient, this setup does allow you to secure more items(this setup was also available with the prior models too though). I do like the newer setup now and manually hook it up when I use it.

One design issue with the previous 6 point system that I encountered was that since the 6 point mounts weren't completely flush it would sometimes cause a slight issue when trying to push a heavy box/luggage into the trunk as they would sometimes catch on those mounting points. I'd still take the option of the old system over having that issue on occasion though.

Went with ZCP and couldn't be happier!

Same as others. Absolutely hated the 666M wheels in pics and was planning on selling them for some BBS wheels, but then IRL I fell in love with them.

I was also very concerned about the ride being too firm/harsh, but in comfort mode it's entirely, well.......comfortable ha go figure!

I also love the blacked out grills, badging and tail pipes.

Agreed. Went to a ZCP recently as well and found the car has been refined quite a bit in terms of ride and comfortability as compared to my 2015 nonCP. All this with adding a slight bump up in HP and with those wonderful seats.

The car now is more predictable, I’m guessing do to the suspension tweaks and easier to take spirited driving closer to my limits without scaring the crap out of me where as before it was a bit of a on/off switch. In essence more fun to drive IMO.

Returned my 2015 F83 (no CP) last week and picked up my new 2018 F83 with CP. So far I only have 300 miles on the new car.
My 2015 had 18" rims and the 2018 has 19" rims. Both cars were very heavily optioned (everything except CCB). Quite honestly in daily driving I don't notice much of a difference. After my experience with "Pothole Explosions" in my 2007 335i with sport package and RFT I was a bit apprehensive about ride quality in the 2018 CP M4. So far so good. The car is firm but not hard or punishing and not that much different from my 2015 M4.

Bottom Line: I'm glad I went with the CP.

Definitely CP. Looks better, sounds better and most importantly to me - is more predictable when applying throttle coming out of turns - you can definitely get on gas earlier (whether in MDM or with DSC fully off).

Today I went for a drive on some empty country roads - when taking 90 degree left or right hand turns - I was able to keep full traction with DSC fully off - with my '15 non-ZCP I would have power oversteered under same circumstances...

I'm still not sure I would have added it if I ordered a new one. I was thinking about it, but my new F80 that I bought off the lot has it, and now that I have it, I'm glad I do. It's a pretty decent difference over non-CP.

I have found this to be the fact as well. In my ‘15 non CP, it was always hairy coming out of turns to a point where I would never be certain till it was over, or too late? My ‘18 CP with its 20s and better hardware is planted even when all is turned off, within reason of course.

I wonder how many people have had the most recent istep updates to their 2015 non zcps and compare that to a zcp car. I've had the updates done to my 2015 non zcp and the difference in ride quality, predictability and dct have been significantly, significantly, significantly improved.
