Will my Sakhir Orange interior fade?

Any issues in terms of color fading or the red color coming on to your clothes ? I read some time back there were issues with color fading

Thanks

I have SO interior. 2 years on and no issues of fading or color rubbing onto clothes. I am more worried about my new jeans screwing up the seat color than other way around.

Not fading but I've noticed that on more Sakhir pics than any other colour interior, it seems more likely to turn shiny and old looking...

No color transfer or fading whatsoever. In the interest of full disclosure I treat the leather every 6 weeks or so with Leathermasters, my windows are tinted and it's rarely outside in direct sunlight for extended periods of time. When not driven it's either in the garage or the rare times I go into the office it's in a parking garage.

All of the M leathers do that.

All this x2 except treating it every 6 weeks.

All BMW leathers are coated / sealed, so I am not sure how much "conditioning" or treatment really helps. Maybe a UV protectant would be useful for fading, but I doubt any product is going to prevent things like the bolster wear that you regularly see in pics.

My main concern was the red color coming onto your clothes and I swear I read it somewhere, so that's not true 😀?

mine looks like it always did, over 2.5 years and 35,000 miles. I am 250lbs and weightlifter, ie, wider than average and I only have a bit of wear on the side bolster.

I just recently started to use Lexol products. They are excellent products and I have no shininess. Prior to that I used Meguiar's Rich Leather spray.
