This car has serious torque and being a RWD makes it a menace, of course just for of us who need to learn how to drive I've only tried LC once, and with nice warm temps and good warm tires it shot like a rocket in a straight line, that was worth a million too

Man oh man...tried launch control for the first time tonight and was ducking terrified lmao. Really
Tried not to be a bitch but with the car putting out 516hp to the wheel I could barely fucking handle it out of 1st the spinning was ridiculous and scared the balls outta me. I probably won't try it again but then I say that about a lot of things haha. Great expierence but I'm not sure with my tune if it's the rite thing to be trying to launch this beast with all this power.

500 more miles until I can try this....

Sounds like it's a visceral experience.

Hmm let me try this on may.
I have my car for over 2 years and never launched it. Tried once but couldn't remember the steps (forgot to put it into semi auto S drive mode).

No, I was just saying I want that million dollar feeling experience but hasn't had time to try....
But when I did I couldn't recall the steps.... will wait for warmer weather in may to try.

Yeah make sure it's a flat road if there is any camber or crown to it the car will make you aware

I'll add two quick points.

#1. The launch control doesn't work that great.

#2. Be aware, that even though you are in Manual mode ( with LC initiated), the car will shift for you through the gears (at least my car does). If you try to shift on your own, (even from 2-3, 3-4, 4-5), a double shift will occur.

The above I was unaware of, and it screwed up a few of my runs while at the drag strip.

Cruise scroll down (left side, on steering) but it does not move below 2900 RPM and best RPM to launch is around/at 3000

Enjoy
